I am setsuna

What are some godly Spritenite builds?
I'm just starting the game off, and i'm building Ednir, as a tank. Got wall, heal aura, incite (on setsuna to put on him), And cyclone.
Not sure if i should keep building him tanky.

Anyways, how do you guys build your party? And really good set ups for certain characters?

Don't be a bitch. You can beat the game just using X-strike, Grand Cross for grinding exp, cleave/cyclone depending on your needs, Setsuna's healing skills and Luminaire (which you get as part of the story), and Aeterna's skills like demi, flawless strike, and slow. You don't need awesome spritenite builds and shit.

Getting MP cost down and Tech power seems like it'd be a good idea.

I got two ATB bonuses on Aeterna's Charge for some funny results since it stacks

Ednir is okay as tank, and momentum wall can help the whole party stay alive. Really all characters combos are viable for a lot of the game. There might be certain bosses that are weak against whatever element, but I liked experimenting with different lineups

I'm not being a bitch? I just want some cool combos. Relax you sperg.

Yeah, Momentum wall seems stupidly good. The mp cost is a bit much, but i usually only need it once for a boss fight.

>I just want some cool combos.
So you can check your snow chronicles, go to the skill section, then go to the combos and it will list all your currently available combos with details on their usage. You can even sort by your party lineup. Endir, Aeterna, and Nidr were my go to for the end part of the game because I liked their buffs/debuffs and straight up damage. Setsuna, Kir, and Julienne are a great magic combo with a little bit of physical attack from Julienee. You get some good magic combos like antipode and delta force.

I just used Aeterna and Setsuna for the whole game and just X slashed and grand crossed my way to victory.

the game is dreadfully easy.

Aeterna and Setsuna are the best characters anyway 2bh

Cheer is broken as fuck and Im not sure what I didn't but Aeterna almost never not had a turn. She was gonna at least three times for everyone else's one.

Those behemoth fuckers in the last area got me once with a suicide meteo. Some of the end side quests were challenging. The Nidr one got me twice before I put on a stone shield spritnite. You can go to the secret village at the end to turn up enemy hitpoints. Really they needed more of it throughout the whole game instead of just the end.

>at end of the game
>mfw I never learned Wall or a bunch of other stuff

where did I go so horribly wrong

one of the first ones i bought, maybe a good thing you didn't get it, cause a momentum wall is really strong.

That is how remedy is for me. You can look up which enemies dropped what material in your snow chronicle, but it is a pain in the ass searching through the whole monster list looking for that one fucker who drops healing tail feathers

I thought it only showed their drops if they've already dropped them for you

cast Stop. Stop is the best spell in the game. it works on almost every fucking thing. It works on bosses, it works on mobs it works on the end goddamn boss.

We learn together

I never had as much luck with stop as I did slow, and slow was usually enough for any boss that did work. And if is one of the few bosses strong vs time magic, then I cast haste on myteam.

But I like the idea of bosses being vulnerable to debuffs. They should have just had more enemies that took advantage of them, as well.

I love when buffs and debuffs are useful but there's such a thing as an opposite extreme. They just trivialize the game

once you learned the time magic you may as well have won the game

You can do just fine with battle cry, impenetrable defense, cheer, blowback, etc without time magic. Buffing and debuffing are just as important as attacking. The ending difficulty wasn't as challenging as I would have liked, but with enemy HP turned up it is more of what I wanted. The option should have been there from the start. But the difficulty was the least of the game's problems so far.

Slow + Luminaire + Cleave made the final boss just a matter of time.

Didn't try stop on it, though. Just assumed it wouldn't work.

I seriously can't believe how badly the plot shit the bed in the finale. That was just...awful. I don't even know where to begin with ripping it apart.

I liked everything about the plot at the end of the game except the way the game ended. To me it was a shitty ending.

the entire plot was the ending. The party just runs around like retards not really doing shit until we get an info dump ending and time travel out of nowhere

The reaper was literally nothing and Aeterna died for no fucking reason than OKAY BECUASE

Oh and let's have Yun Setsuna do whatever the fuck she did because who cares
