I need help.
Might need a little more to go on.
I'm grinding through the item world in Disgaea 4 vita version trying to get rank 40 weapons and I'm getting bored. It's boring me.
Do I seriously have to go through 100 floors of every 35+ item, then steal the next rank higher from LoC item god 2 in order to get the best gear? And it's not even guaranteed legendary; I have to grind 99 floors, then save-scum two floors in LoC until I get legendary, and this is done for like 5 more ranks per item with like 5 types of items.
But I play at work so whatever. How do I not be bored at this? Should I just stop and play something else at work? Or just grind for hours forever?
I'm not enjoying my life.
Hopefully someone comes along with actual advice, but in the meanwhile, play rimworld. Can't enjoy your life, enjoy another. It's what games are for. And rimworld is fun.
>Do I seriously have to go through 100 floors of every 35+ item, then steal the next rank higher from LoC item god 2 in order to get the best gear?
you can steal the rank 39's from LoC item world, iirc.
just check every single enemy while you're ranking something up/trying to get pirate drops.
>And rimworld is fun.
Why do you lie to me?
does fft get hard
Draw your sword, Ramza!
I learned how to play Dwarf Fortress, now nothing else seems fun at all.
Will I ever love another game again?
As I grow older I find it increasingly hard to find time to play video games. How can I remedy this?
I want to 1CC Touhou 6, but I'm bad at Patchy's stage. How can I git gud?
How the fuck am i supposed to win men of war assault squad
Every time i start getting somewhere the ai rolls out 10 tanks and fucks me over
I want to kiss a white mage!
>Will I ever love another game again?
Only games that offer brand new experiences.
Subnautica is fantastic. Building sea bases in incredibly fun, and it has some bronze colossus tier monsters that make the game absolutely horrifying.
Did you play it longer than two hours?
Get off Sup Forums.
I'm serious
>Get off Sup Forums.
>Implying you can leave
I want to BE Meowstress!
Original tactics? How does anyone deal with the garbage camera and controls?
What level is the best time to reclass? Also, do I maintain abilities and some stats afterwards?
Who's the mastermind?
Buy a costume and then a hooker.
When I was busy like said user, I did not visit this site, and instead played games. But when I have more freetime, I visit and play games.
It's simple
How do I get in the mood to play long ass games like Persona and Metal Gear Solid? More of then than not I play for like an hour then go straight to Kirby and forget I was even playing those games.
read some books. Meditate. Do things that help you gain an actual attention span
>Persona
Persona is the perfect summer game. But I also personally like turn based JRPGs, so I never had problems getting into them.
>Metal Gear Solid
MGS games aren't even long. They're like 10-20 hours max.
>How does anyone deal with the garbage camera and controls?
Pretty much the reason I stopped playing. The diverse terrain also doesn't help when you can't see shit. I'd rather play FFTA2
if mgs games are "long" in your opinion, you have a problem
>read a book
That's a lot to ask for someone that has severe ADHD.
The problem is that those games are cutscene heavy, so unless it's something that's moderately interesting my brain just shuts off.
>posts in a thread asking for help with problems
>gets helpfully informed that he has problems
Great job Sup Forums!
I think the longest game I've ever played was Ty 2, and I didn't even fucked beat that game.
I need help.
adhd isn't real.
You can train yourself to pay better attention
Seems to me like you're playing games for the sake of ticking them off, and getting them out of the way, instead of actually playing them.
Is Dwarf Fortress that good? Where do I start?
But cutscenes are mostly used for story exposition, if you don't find yourself interested in the story, how can your brain not shut off outside of cutscenes?
Anyhow, P3/4 especially 4 start really slowly, you only get more or less full control over the game after a couple of hours.
I watched sippycup's tutorials on youtube while I was on a boring vacation with family.
youtube.com
>adhd isn't real
Yeah just like autism ain't real.
Granted I'm not saying it's impossible to train my brain better but I'm also incredibly stubborn AND don't give enough of a shit to try.
It's weird because I can play games like Skullgirls and Pokemon just fine because of how repetitive they are.
I think it's because those games start off almost instantly and are easy to pick up.
>Tempo Up
>Monster Maw
>at the end of a 7 game challenge
Whoever did this should be drawn and quartered.
Force yourself to sit down and play a game instead of posting on Sup Forums, and eventually it'll become a habit again.
You fucker.
>Pokemon just fine because of how repetitive they are
That's not adhd, that's autism.
pls no
Also get off the internet.
It's a turn based strategy game, why would camera be so important
Would it surprise you if I said I have both?
Pretty sure those are mutually exclusive.
I'm also sure you don't really have either, and are just a lazy ass.
I've been diagnosed with all three, actually.
Yeah? I can diagnose you with inflammation of the bullshit gland.
There is one or two fight that can be bullshit if you don't have the right set up but overall no the game's pretty easy
You should go to reddit. That isn't me memeing. You just should go there instead
So my friends and I are giving WoW a shot with the free trial thing, is there supposed to be a main quest or something? I had to go to the capital city for the goat people, but once I finished that one I couldn't find anything to do. Maybe I'm supposed to be a higher level?
How can I actually get the motivation to finish FFT?
I have it on my Vita, but the gameplay feels incredibly slow and a bit clunky. And this is coming from someone that loves LUCT.
Watch someone do it on youtube and try to mimic him. Practice the stage over and over again. That's how I 1CC'd my first and so far only 2hu, DDC.
Think about why you're trying to play MGS and Persona in the first place. If it's solely because you heard they are "essential" games to play, then stop. It's all a pointless waste of time if there's nothing about these games that interest you (art style, genre, game design, etc.)
Some idiot once made the same thread for a week or two, saying he wants to like FF6 but the World of Ruin is boring him. Just stop playing, and don't force yourself just because others praise the games

No, not really.
It can be a little challenging if you're trying to steal all the missable equips and RNG isn't on your side
>Just stop playing, and don't force yourself
I had to force myself to play DE:HR for the first couple of hours, but then I got hooked. Enjoyed it as much as the original.
Of course it's a different story if you get bored in the middle of a playthrough, but at this point, I'd say dropping the game is worse than forcing yourself through an uninteresting part.
It's better to regret having done something, than to regret never doing it.
Nigga I'm not denying I'm not a stubborn and lazy asshole, but I was literally diagnosed with ADHD as well as autism, at least I'm not completely excusing my actions because of it.
I like their concepts, it's just hard for me to get into a game unless I'm 100% down for it. I genuinely enjoyed playing Persona 3, but Persona 4 just feels a lot slower, so it's harder for me to get into it.
I hope that after a while I'll just slip into it.
How do I beat John Cena?
How can i get good at fighting games?
I'm on Chapter four of Neptunia Rebirth 1 and it's teasing me with MAGES, Tekken and CC2 turning up but not joining.
How long until I get some more interesting party members? I just got Blanc but I'd like to be able to make a team without goddesses.
Stick to one character and master them first. As you're mastering them, you will naturally become familiar with zoning and pattern reading, and this will later help tremendously in learning other characters, and even other games.
How do I get gud as genji?
do i need to build the seamoth first before i venture to the aurora wreck? if so, then do reapers spawn in the grassy plateaus where i need to find the seamoth parts? havent run into one yet and kind of dreading when i do meet one
Go in and make some useful plays. Don't be a timid little bitch.
never stop jumping
No, but it's a pain in the ass to swim all the way over there. The seamoth parts are near red grass areas, it should be easy to find them, as they're one of the few things that have models for the fragments. Reaper leviathans only spawn near the aurora, so you're fine.
PROTIP BUT SPOILERS FOR AURORA:
bring the propultion gun, as there are those half life crab things, and you can use the gun and throw em in the ocean. Bring a welder, you'll need a full one, maybe a battery too. There's also a seamoth pressure compensator lying around in there.
ive heard of the propulsion cannon before but i'm not sure if i even have the blueprints for it yet
I'm about to play KOTOR1 on a windows vista laptop.
Am I about to hate life?
I made a foundry and married some hoe like in the tutorial but I don't know what the fuck I'm supposed to do after that.
Buy higher title, kill all other dynasties, become a king. There is lots of ways to have fun. The game is most interesting in multiplayer also, but even here its still unbalanced and broken.
Anyone here played Revelations 2 raid mode?
I've gotten all medals for everything including code red and have a couple of level 100 characters at this point.
I was wondering what the best way to go about those weekly low level challenges was though. I'm trying to grind for those rainbow AMR's and jack capacity right now, or is that not the best thing to do? What about the best skills and such though or just general advice?
It feels like everyone hates me when I play LoL but it used to not be like that two years ago and I still feel like it's the same game I used to enjoy but everyone in it hates me before the game even starts and I don't even talk all that much
I feel as though I myself have not changed significantly.
How do I git gud in rocket league? Does a controller help?
There should be this thread more often, it gives me nostalgia of when I used to go to Walmart and find the cheat codes little book.
So I'm playing System Shock 2 , at the beginning and I must charge the battery. There are zombies fucking everywhere, energy gun stops working after 5 shots, not nearly enough bullets on the normal gun. The fuck do I do? Should I just speedrun through it?
I need help finding a 4x game that's at least as fun as Alpha Centauri
Dominions was underwhelming and Age of Wonders 3 was too combat-focused considering the utterly dull tactics portion
>tfw no cute white mage to hug
>when user posts your waifu
>and likes OP's picture too
Why do we have the same taste in women?
I have no idea what to do after leaving the dragoon city in FF3, actually
Anyone?
How do i level quickly in diablo 3
I want to help you, but it's been years since I played it. Try to go to the next shrine maybe?
Which version of FFT is the best to play? Do you play the Lion War version on a PSP emulator, or do you use a translation patch for the PS1 version so it isn't total nonsense?
How do I get good at total war warhammer? Especially battlefield command in general and successful management of chaos
What do I have to do to make sure Yuzu dies in Devil Survivor?
I'm stuck on the Gattuso in Vesperia. I've never had much problem with a Tales game before, but this is seriously kicking my ass. I've been commanding whatserface to keep using fire, went for the two underlings first, generally try to keep Estelle away from harm and try with varied success to stun him with the flowers, but I still keep getting my ass handed to me. Do I just need to grind? What level should I be?
How the hell do you play Crypt of the Necrodancer? I know you have to move with the beat, but which beat? It sounds like there are at least three beats, but none of them match up with the heart.
I'm thinking about picking up Final Fantasy XIV. Is it possible at all to "solo" the game (where I don't have to clan up, I can just go adventuring)? Additionally, is there any shortage of any job class thats needed? If I do have to party up, i'd like to contribute
On Disgaea 4; should I bother grinding at all if i'm just going through the story? What party makeup should I aim for?
lines from both sides of the screen close in on the heart
act when the lines are on/in the heart
Playing yoot tower. Can't seem to get past a 3 star rating on the Hawaii scenario. What little guides are available simply tell me little. Any ideas?
That's the giant wolf thing right? I played Vesperia when it was fairly new so my advice might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I just wailed on the big wolf with Yuri and healed through the 2 smaller wolves. Don't rely on the AI to spellcast though, manually direct them to cast spells. And if you've been tinkering with AI positioning, don't set Estelle and Rita as max distance, put it as like 3/4 instead so that they don't have to waste time running up a bit before casting.
I think I read somewhere that fight was overtuned because they upped his stats for the demo and left it as is for the actual release.
Playing Dynasty Warriors 7. Completed Wei and Shu but the cutscenes for Cao Caos death and Liu Beis death wouldnt appear. Hell even Sima Si's death was skipped. Everytime its going to show the scene the screen flashes and then it continues on as if it hadnt skipped. Anyone know?
Turn grass off. On areas like Dantooine the texture freaks out and stretches all over the screen, and you get less than 5 FPS.
Is Universe Sandbox 2 worth getting?
Been watching Cosmos, the new version recently.
I'm playing PSO2 on Ship 10, looking for the last Saiki unit (Arm) to finally start prepping up for Ultimate Quests. How the hell do I get that unit without rare boss spawn triggers?
no, stop
Playing Dragon's Dogma
I just need to know so I prepare, is there aught spells that are super effective against Grigori?
Also, any general advice for gitting gud at Civ V with the CBP? I want to try it again now that I know not to play on Epic, but I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong so I always end up quitting before Medieval Era.
Where is the nigger that was doing a run of FF 1 with 2 white mages, a monk and a thief

What a fucking madman
