Did you fall for CA DLC scam?

Im 33, im comfortable in my life financially.
RPG and tapletopped warhammer, love the lore, love total war strategy games..
Im not "cheap" when it comes to buying games, bought 10 last month.

But im "cheap" when i feel im being robbed.

17+ dollars is the same as some quite respectable games are at in cost total.

This is a reskin, playing around with stats and making a new map + some extras.
This doesnt deserve a 17+ dollars and even if i was okay with throwing money at it now,
the company is gonna do the same thing for every race pack...

I find it strange how greed sometimes goes far enough to ruin both a companies reputation and the game itself.
(Evolve for instance... I waited for the game... And now i havent even touched it since it became free to play)

Im boycotting all race packs, and ill maybe pick it up when they are all cluttered together into some sort of a respectable price range.

no. But that's because i dont like the Beastmen. Havn't they promised a "free" playable race tho?

This is what people wanted. Everyone was begging for new races and CA delivered.

CA is not stupid. They know people will complain about the price tag, but they also know people will still throw their money at them for whatever shit they throw out.

Played it beat the mini campaign after about 11 hours probably gonna wait for wood elves to start another grand campaign so I'd say all around worth it

I did and it's fun. And it convinced me to buy other race pack DLC's from them.

I will buy it later, not interested in beastmen.

This is what annoys me most about players lately. They will throw a hissy fit about an extreme price tag but will buy it day one.

Anyone unironically asking for Lizardmen or High Elf dlc is a moron, their territories aren't even on the map.

None of those factions aside from Bretonnia actually fit onto the old world. Well, wood elves technically but people want high or dark more than wood elves. Bretons are FLC

Elves are gonna be the focus of an expansion.

As a beastmen player I wanted beastmen

So I take it nobody here plays tabletop, or gets their food anywhere else but food stamps? Seriously though. For a new faction and campaign map, this is exactly the same as the mini campaigns for Attila. I don't understand how you guys assign value to a game but I feel like 30c would be too much for a game if you thought you could get away with it.

See, I'd think the same but there are a lot of death animations that weren't in there before as well, the sadistic laugh that cannons incite was worth an Ice Tea's worth of money.
