It's not a good game, but I enjoyed it.
Why does the artwork in this look like the Monogatari artwork?
Was it the same artist/character designer?
Repetitive but I enjoyed it greatly, enough to Plat it. Dunno why.
Hope there's an Akiba's Trip 3 (Beat doesn't count.)
Beat looks like it might be cool though
I loved it, but hated how all endings beside the cake were exactly the same.
Sachiko is the cutest.
Imouto ending is the best thing.
Yeah, same artist.
Almost tried because that main girl's nep hair is sexy as fuck.
But the game looks shit, like, worse than nep shit
I've played 1, 2, V, R1, R2, R3, VII, U.
I still think Akiba is the better game.
Cake was best girl and had best ending
It was dumb but I liked it.
Kati and imouto best girls.
SWEDISH TREAT NEVER EVER
Who needs a swedish treat when you have a qt vampire girl that saved your life?
She's a finn, not a race traitor.
Nudemods when?
>Finn
But she looks white, not mongoloid
cake>childhood friend>foreigner>the rest>memespewing shitass sister
I enjoyed the hell out of this game, the humor, the gameplay, pretty much everything. Even got all the endings which admittedly was the biggest weakness since only Cake was the one that was different but other than that really enjoyable.
also Shion is best girl
Played a bunch of hours. It was kinda fun but it just wasn't enough.
Combat felt shallow despite having a bunch of different styles.
>no mods
Is there a possibility to make all enemies female? Having a male mc is actually alright and a relief for these type of games.
I'll never understand why nude mods never happened.
Is everyone excited for the sequel Akiba's Beat?
will it be anything like Akiba's trip? I didn't think I'd see a sequel for this game
Where's your god now PCucks?
Not really, at least not as a spiritual sucessor of Akiba's trip or somehting like that.
It kinda feels like a persona clone that removed everything that made Akiba's trip unique. I also hate how the dungeons look.
It looks more in line with Tales of than Akiba's Trip
>no stripping
What is even the point
It's sad but unless a game is at least a bit more known, the chances that it'll get any mod ever is low.
Senran Kagura got some, Dead or Alive got tons of them. But Akiba's trip didn't really caught much attention.
Well, I don't hate it.
Higher difficulties doing nothing but turning enemies into damage sponges kills any real desire to replay, though.

From what i've seen from the trailer it looks like they reused most of the map from Akiba's Trip 2 and the combat looks completely different
Also a different artist for the characters
>Ebola-chan save Japan from the vampire menace
What a time to be alive.
I couldn't get it to work on my computer. It crashed left and right.
it wasnt so bad when you learned the best defense is to have none.
seriously getting rid of your pants trivializes the game so much. the idol side quest becomes cakewalk afterwards.
you could also get rid of your shirt too if you like living on the edge.
since the AI rarely attack your head directly, or the attacks for it are noticeably slower.
just be sure to do this when you can start maxing weapon and headwear.
Considering the map in Akiba's Trip is a surprisingly faithful recreation of the real Akihabara, it's to be expected that they would use it for the sequel, too.
I waisted 10 bucks on this game. Cringest game ive ever played.
>Optional Boss was locked behind a difficulty setting limit
I was so fucking mad. That stupid miko bitch.
I had to replay it on Otaku difficulty just to smash her face in.
The rewards you get from her are lame as hell. But kicking her ass was worth it alone.
what in the fuck? are you this isn't a remaster? they literally took Akibas trip map, copied it over and called it a day.
It also seems like they took a more serious tone in this game compared to the retarded, silly one in Akibas trip 2 which what made me enjoy it a lot.
I wanted to like it, since I love imouto a LOT but the combat feels so shit, also I had to give up on my big poster because that type of weapon triggered half of Akiba since I couldn't stop hitting the nearby passer-byes with my reckless swinging
Yes how dare they make the game look like the real Akihabara complete with the actual shops in the right places AGAIN
It looks miles better then nep, especially the enviroment.
the thing i hatted the most in nep was the shitty unreal basic assest grass and rocks everywhere.
It just looks generic
>cringest
Next time just put "ignore my opinion entirely please" in the subject or name field. Thank you
it was alright. very clunky and unpolished, wish the sequel went fixing that instead of going in a different direction.
Beat looks like a Persona clone. As for Strip II, I enjoyed the game, but it really needed an AOE attack. Strip I was only in Japanese I think and not on PC.
Texture quality was all over the place in that game.
Not really. I pirated it to test it, and it honestly seemed like crap. It didn't recognize my pad properly, the combat was simplistic and not fun, graphics were poor, framerate was bad... Some of the girl designs were nice but that doesn't carry you far.
I don't like the new game that's coming out. I think it looks really bad overall.
New Akiba's Trip never ever.
Yes, bought it twice. Its really fun
Best girl
YAMETEKURE
>but it really needed an AOE attack.
Fucking this.
>doing that side mission where you had to take down 40 maids at once
>partner kept getting her shit torn off
>getting ganged on by multiple girls
>one of them manages to rip my good fucking shirt/pants.
The fight system alone, makes it so only a select few weapons are decent, otherwise its too slow or just isnt good for multiple enemies
That was a Trials of Cold Steel trailer right? PC release never.
The Cold Steel OP is forever ingrained into my head because of Akiba's Trip
Just beat it a couple of days ago actually, great game can't wait for the sequel
Realized this is kind of ambiguous, I beat Cold Steel a couple of days ago
I keep intending to buy it but never got around to it yet. One day.
Pros:
>Gameplay is fun
>Leveling up system means all weapons are useful
>Setting is cool
>Tons of missions for variety
Cons:
>Too short
>World is small
>Repetitive
>Story is weak
9/10 it's ok
>Art looks OK at best. The animated portraits looks terrible.
>Characters running animations look retarded.
>Uninspired battle system.
The only thing to look forward to is the trap.
>tfw no dual audio for Trails of Cold Steel
>tfw no YAMETEKURE
Xseed must have had a laugh about that since Sen's localization was likely starting around the time AK2 came out in the West.
I was just thinking that myself
From what I read, the story from Trip I sounds a lot more interesting than the story from Strip II.
IM STILL MAD
Yes. The gameplay is surprisingly fun despite being pretty repetetive, but there is so much shit to screw around with. I love all these silly combat styles and walking animations. On the lowest difficulty you can screw around with lots of stupid weapons, too.
It's one of the few games I actually platinumed and one of the few waifu baits where I actually ended up liking all the girls and having a hard time choosing a best girl.
In the end I liked Rin the most for being a decently done tsundere. Shinon has undoubtly the best route, though.
>get to strip everyone
>even get these hilarious pictures from recking the dudes
Hell yeah motherfucker.
