I don't really know what you're talking about, but here's an awesome final boss theme.
youtube.com
Sonic Adventure's buttrock is still super strong to me
youtube.com
youtube.com
I still think DMC 3 is the perfectly example of perfect pacing and build up of a rival character in story and game-play.
youtube.com
snake eating the horizon does a good job of this. especially in the homestretch of the battle.
youtube.com
I was so surprised with this song, it seems so unlike the rest of the music in FFX. But it worked well in the background when I was fighting jecht with regular leveled characters. Made it so intense!
Then I learned to power level and FFX became easy.
Shadowlord theme.

wew lad, this soundtrack in general.
Sort of cheating, but since he was built up to be the final boss the whole time, it still feels like a suitable theme.
>tumblrtale
Fuck off.
its just music no need to get triggered
Say what you want about the game, but the OST was awesome.
My nigga.
I fought this boss when I was outside in the pouring rain at midnight. It added to the atmosphere so damn much. As soon as Toriel's theme kicked in, I swear I flipped shit inside.
youtube.com
Honestly the high point of both games for me. It really felt like it was that "climactic moment" the entire game had been building towards. Xillia 2's is also great but the fight itself just couldn't match up to the previous fights in the game, let alone the end boss of 1.
youtube.com
This one does it for me. My dick still gets hard remembering my first encounter with it.
Can be considered final boss theme?
youtube.com
If not

Basically any final boss theme that incorporates the main theme whether it is just literally it or a remix nails it for me.
Speaking of Ace Combat
youtube.com
Ryu ga Gotoku boys, where we at?
offtopic, but it would certainly be the best track in the game if Devils Never Cry wouldn't exist

This one gave me fucking goosebumps the first time I fought it.
youtube.com
>0:00 to 11:05 are the main fight
>11:06 changes to be a remix of the game's theme when he's low on health
While not a final boss, it was still hype as fuck the first time.
youtube.com
youtube.com
>Fight it with first track
>Kill it, its body fades out
>It fades back in, comes back to full health
>It's now much stronger, second track kicks in
The hours spent trying to get to both of these guys are a real fucking pain. But the music was worth it.
youtube.com
shame the actual fight wasn't that hard
>evoke the feeling that everything you've been doing since the game's opening hours have been leading to this moment
The beginning of this song
Oh that reminds me
Should I download Umineko? I really want to, but I feel like it would be against my better judgement (I'm not in the best place right now in life, and something tells me the last thing I need in my life at the moment is something else to get addicted to.)
Suggestions?
Dunno why you included the first song next to the 11/10 silver theme, fire red/leaf green OST is horrible
Anyway out of god tier OST's this is probably the very best even though the fight itself was shit
youtube.com
>NOT FOR HONOR
>BUT FOR
>YOOOOUUU

Definitely Rance. kichikuou and Sengoku especially.
Rough Edge in kichikuou is one of the best moments I've had in a game ever.
youtube.com
And near the end of it, a decade after Kichikou and several games later, they bring it back and remix the original tunes for Rebirth the Edge in Sengoku.
youtube.com
Of course, Rance is almost mainstream at this point. Sengoku more so than kichikuou though. But actually playing these in order really left you feeling it.
Link stabbing ganondorf in the face made a lasting impact on me when I was a kid so I may be biased here

Like another user said, I like when the final boss theme is a remixed theme from earlier so I love this
youtube.com
and this

I think most of the Layton games do this as well, although they don't really have a "final boss fight."
+1 the p3 final boss theme.
Ironically I think this is the best final boss music for p4 rather than any of the true final boss music.
youtube.com
I suppose if you didn't fight Izanami then yes
P3's final boss has one of my favorite boss themes and is one of my favorite final boss battles overall.
Xillia 2's final boss theme was amazing, though I remember thinking the boss was somewhat lackluster.
>literally every song posted has japanese developers except for undertale
Seriously, why are the japs so much better at final bosses than westerners?
Stop proving me wrong right as I'm making my post. I guess something of note is that every western game listed here is an indie game.
If theres one thing Destiny did right it was the OST. The Last Array is my favorite with this as a close second.
youtube.com
GO GO GO
Damn that's fucking slick.
I just wish the game didn't look so incomprehensible to get into. I don't think I could ever play it with any level of understanding.

Gotta say that I loved both phases of Xenoblade's final boss. It was truly a perfect way to end that game. Xenoblade X's final boss really disappointing me -- kinda didn't feel much like a final boss to me.
wasn't this in Furi too?
youtube.com
The themes for champions are always so good. This one in particular really felt greate when I was powering through the elite 4 in Y underleveled and made it to Diantha.
Case in point:
youtube.com
Where my fighting games niggas at? youtube.com
The same composer did a few songs for it but that one isn't in Furi.
Firing Marty was the stupidest thing they could have ever done, you can feel his absence in the taken king soundtrack like a gaping wound, the fight songs are still good but the main themes are so lackluster compared to vanilla
>Music of the spheres will never be released
Have another awesome "everything lead to this" track
youtube.com
It's also in Hotline Miami 2
boss battles are too video gamey for western devs
Was just coming in to post this.
Promised Pain in Xenosaga Ep. 3 also does this well.
The Hotline Miami 2 version is better
youtube.com
I like how most of it is just a chaotic rendition of the first notes of Ballad of the Wind Fish
Love Digimon World but never finished it, and now I really WANT TO FINISH IT. Thanks user.
I only just now started playing FF9 but I gotta say the Final Boss theme is fantastic.
youtube.com
The moaning at the start is quite appropriate since I would imagine Grand Cross is cheap as fuck.
youtube.com
I let Gehrman kill me in the first playthrough, but when I figured out that he was doing it to 'save' you, I couldn't help but feel for him when I had to do the obligatory opposite ending on my second playthrough. Even worse when you find out that the dream was possibly his fault.
Mark my words: Fffffuck greymon.
Really enjoyed this theme. Too bad his EQ dumped for TD4 and Profound Darkness
youtube.com
You know, it feels like if I don't post the music anymore: then everyone forgets about Mega Man.
>ITT: Final Boss Fight themes that aren't just thrilling and memorable, but evoke the feeling that everything you've been doing since the game's opening hours have been leading to this moment
how about one that encompasses the entire series up to that point:
youtube.com
This shit instantly makes me forget MGSV. I don't even care- this series was and IS so fucking amazing.
When the modified Original theme kicks in I got chills
youtube.com
>tfw going all or nothing on the boss's weakpoint as 1:45 kicks in
posting god-tier GBA music and god-tier final boss music
youtube.com
They're exactly the same wtf
Fuck you Weissman
youtube.com
youtu.be
Too bad he (and all but three other final bosses in fire emblem) is ridiculously easy
>sinister remix of the main theme
The best.
Honestly, while I love it, Finale trumps every other boss battle theme in the game.
Hopes and Dreams/SAVE The World are both good too, but nothing has ever captured that "turning the tables" feel for me in pretty much any game ever as much as Finale did.
youtube.com
The fight is about as long as this video too
