why do people complain so much about the water temple when the forest was clearly the more troubling one? to this day it still takes me over an hour to beat
its even worst on L4D2
eh REEEEEEEEEEE eh REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I think it's supposed to be an olde spooky mansion
Not sure how it fits in with the lore so as it's not very "temple-y"
A temple in the forest
A haunted mansion version of Ganon's Castle. That's why you have to find the poes and fight phantom ganon. A brilliant contrast to the final adult link dungeon in the game.
One of the best dungeons of the gEH REH EH REH EH REH EH REH
Like, the shadow temple had plenty of exposition regarding its existence. The fire and water temples could just be "its were the Zora and Gorons go to worship".
The forest temple is just a spooky enigma
20 years later and I STILL DONT HOW THE DEVS MADE THAT ROOM, MY MIND IS STILL FULL OF FUCK.
It's where the Kokiri go to play House and pretend to be adults.
with a Z-Buffer
problem, Sony?
The forest temple was a place of worship that got twisted by ganon.
I mean it seems pretty obvious that it was just supposed to be a regular temple that become haunted by after ganon took over.
The real question is what the fuck was the shadow temple?
"Hi, I am a bit lost and am not sure how to read the map, I am here to go stand on the giant drum, but all I find is the room with fake floor and bottomless pit."
"Ah yes, you just take the boat down the river of pain to get to the drum room."
"So I just take a left through the invisible wall after the entrance?"
"No, that will take you to the room full of dirt, take a right and go straight through the room full of twirling blades. You can't miss it."
Because most people aren't as shit as you

LOL!
holy fucking shit you people are such god damn faggots you turned the best temple music in any zelda game into a god damn meme
I think its a castle, you can tell because in the outdoor parts the walls are extremely castle-like.
Probably some members of the royal family lived there. During the war it must have been a fantastic position, and the maze was put there for extra defense.
I thought it was meant to be a refuge place for the royal family but was abandoned and corrupted
>Stuff that couldn't be built by the Kokiri or Deku
>But only they can live in the forest
...
The forest temple is the product of a long forgotten age, overtaken by the forest, and the only things left are ghosts of the past. Maybe it has something to do with the Hylian counterpart to the ancient kingdom of Ikana.
DUDU DOOO DOO
If my last post makes sense The forest wasn't there when it was built.
