Berserker.

I love wrecking shit with giant weapons. Wish there was a more poignant explanation.

>tfw killing four enemies with one swing of an ultra greatsword in Souls

Archer

Anything with Range, unless the game obviously added it on a whim then Berserker.

Cleric for healan.

Monk all day. Every day.

Terror Knight

Nin.

Dark Knight or whatever the game's edgiest counterpart is

a shame Terror Knights in TO were shit

The one with guns

wizard

warrior on second playthrough or after trying all the different types of wizards

berserker

big weapon to compensate for my little johnson

Ninja so i can speak like a broken weeaboo

I'm gomenasai are you daijoubu??

Knight/Paladin.

berserker/warrior in singleplayer games

cleric in multiplayer games

Paladin, or death knight equivalent classes.

Either the nicest knight you've ever met or twisted fucking psychopath.

Knight, Fighter, Warrior, Paladin
Whatever can use a shield and can take a hit. Depends on the game. Some games Warriors are just Berserkers or Barbarians, but sometimes they're a catchall for melee fighters and I'll play them.

Knight, always. If Knight is not available as a class, I'll just put my points into armor and weapon related skills.

>tfw there's almost never a firearms based class despite the time period easily having them or even in the game

Otherwise it's usually a rogue-esque class if they're not complete shit, then usually archer.

Knight Goon or terror knight from this list. I like melee and I like plate mail.

Terrorknight looks sick. Debuff-based tanks are usually solid

spell-sword if it's there

wizard if not.

generally speaking, PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER over physical strength

Paladin. If I can't do that, Berserker, if I can't do that, Warrior.

Berserker. I especially appreciate when you're able to abuse your own health/defensive stats to deal more damage.

Big weapons
Big numbers
Big dick

>Tfw there will never live a game where you can pic a gunslinger

Tell me a game that does this

...

They were ok in the original.

If it's a multiplayer game, I like to play the support or a damage/heal hybrid. If it's single player or uses the generic rogue/warrior/mage trinity I prefer dickass thief.

Ragnarok Online, but the game is on life support and the community has had a steady decline over the past 5 years.

...

Warrior, best attacks and roleplaying

>Pick a class because I think it's cool
>According to guide that class is useless and generic looking class is much much better

Every time

What class is this? Additionally, what game lets me pick a class like this?

I'm a good healslut

Dragoon if it's available and allows me to do ridiculous jumps and spear drops on enemies, wizard specializing in either lightning or physical/non-elemental magic otherwise. I wish more games did dragoons like Final Fantasy did.

My African-American friend.

>Berserker/Warrior
>Any class that allows me to look like a barbarian or a knight
>Any class that lets me become a walking fortress
>Any class that can be played up front and in your face

Divine knight.

Some kind of gunner if there's one, otherwise usually an archer or a thief. Only melee characters I play is if it's a huge ass 8ft knight clad in armor that screams TANK all the way to the end of the universe.

Usually rogue

Monk if it enables me to ATATATATATATA.
Else, wizard.
If no magic, operator.

They're awful in the game tho.

Witch.

If that isn't available then anything that gives me heavy armor and a shield.

>"terror knight"
>no paladin

Yes, thank you for posting what I was referencing.

It usually depends on what is effective. I like to do research beforehand.

I like classes that are flashy if possible, and/or ranged classes.

So out of your list, I would probably have gone with valkyrie, for the melee and spell casting combo, combined with spears being cool.

>Shank two niggas at one
>Shank one nigga twice
Every time

gunner

Berserker

Muscle solves most problems

Spellsword, or whatever is closest to it. Melee + Magic has always seemed like such a great combination to me. Unfortunately, not a lot of game implement one so I'm always stuck with Paladin or something like that.

...

Necromancer. If that isn't an option than Warlock.

Mystic/Necromancer/Shaman

Terror Knight. The skull thrones won't make themselves, you know.

>disrespectful
>shameful
>long reach

>just a nigga with a garden hose

Whichever gives me the most content and gets combat over with the fastest, as class-based systems play poorly with good combat which tends to require specialization.

Only yours guys.
>paralytic wave paralytic waveparalytic waveparalytic waveparalytic waveparalytic waveparalytic waveparalytic wave

Anything that lets me tank.

>High as fuck survivability
>Prioritized for groups
>Usually have the best armor sets in the game
>Generally able to solo like a fucking champ
>Massive pain in the ass for PVP if geared/specced properly

Usually swordmaster/samurai type. Not ninjas though, fuck those guys. If none of that, just default to standard two-hand sword warrior

Red Mage. I like a bit of everything. It's a shame they would work terribly in an MMO without Refresh and being a healsut.

I always thought his eye was a wart on his nose.

Wizard if the magic class is genuinely well thought out and creative. Archer/Ranger otherwise.

Scholar, because I really like utility magic and anti-magic magic.
Oh there is no scholar option? Then Bard, playing suport while playing songs is cool to. Shit, no bard option either? Eh,sure, I'll go Wizard.
What I'm trying to say is more games should allow me to play as scholar or bard

Rogue. Shanking people and being a lying piece of shit is a lot funner than playing a generic "roll dice/click attack til enemy dies" as a warrior.

Anyone else never pick magic classes? I mean MAYBE I'll pick up a couple spells if the game's meta demands it, but I find plinking enemies from far away with gay ass fireballs to be lame. I like the idea of getting up in a dudes face in swordfight and kicking ass

Kek, that class was only good for interrupting diviners. Class was weak as balls otherwise - outside of a couple uniques like that spiderchick.

that's just what I gravitate towards. Nothing better than stomping on the throats of knaves and reminding them of how low they are

Gun Mage?

Spell fencer/Mystic Knight
Xtreme boner for that class.

Sorcerer, of course.

Rogue

>inb4 pshh nothing personal kid

I like fighting with a load of different weapons, mostly poisons. If there was a weapons/game master class, I'd prefer that instead. Since there isn't, thief classes are the closest alternative.

Plus, I enjoy the risk of dying should I mess up something. Having a get-out-of-jail free card that most other classes get is kinda boring.

RF X Valkyrie is my OTP

I don't like magic classes because 99% of the time you stand there, cast a spell, wave your hands or an item in the air for a few seconds and then something just flies out.

I'm sure someone can say melee classes are boring, but at least I feel a lot more active as one.

>wizard is the male
>witch is the female

when will this meme end?

>+you a badass nigger
>--fuck, you the niggest
Gets me everytime

I usually use a cross between a magic user and a warrior. It is my greatest desire to be able to build an actual muscle wizard one day.

Ninjas were superior Archers

You are an idiot

Magic sucks.

I like to beat people with metal sticks

My fellow necrobro

Beast tamer/Summoner
I like having a bro to help me out

Summoner classes in general but mostly Necromancers.
Aside from that classes that use fists.
I really like classes with lots of curses/debuffs but they're usually garbage so I don't get to play them much.

>wizardry is the disciplined and rigorous application of logical magical theory to makes reality your bitch
>witchery is handwavy bullshit that require feelings and betrayal

Nope, this adds up.

Where's Geomancer?

where my mutha fucking fighters/brawlers/fist fighters at nigga?

cute little gun-wizard, everytime

>tfw wildstar had a fun gunmage class
>but it's fucking wildstar

>>Gun Mage?
youtube.com/watch?v=4cZqRzHnI8s

getting cucked by monks.

I want a brawler class, not muh mystical chi ferocious tiger crane punch into water dragon lily stance.

...

It's all about your preference for flashiness or activity. I dip between both of these moods, so if a game has a Spellsword class then I'm all set. Otherwise I just pick between the two depending on the mood I'm in. If I want to stand a few feet away behind my party and then cause absolute havoc with the few extra seconds I have, then I'll pick up a magic class. If I want to get up in there in feel like a badass just taking and dishing out hits, then I'll pick a melee one.

Spellsword/red mage when available and when it's not dragoon or warrior.

Only 2 games have ever done Necromancers well.

Can you name them?

Female sorcerers are always the devil's work. Hence they will always be witches

Usually warrior/berserker. I'll try out many other builds, but I always fall back on melee. It feels more satisfying to beat people to death, rather than kill them from range.

On the other hand, playing a mage with more spells than "I deal damage" would be nice.

>Telekinesis
>Levitation
>Magical manipulation
>Adding 100 Lock to every bag in Vivic

Man, Morrowind was the shit.

Archer
>Tfw in every MMO they're fucking garbage yet I keep doing it
;~;

The best one is in your picture
Fucking D2
Real question is Bonemancer or Summonmancer

What separates a knight from a warrior?
What separates a knight from a terror knight beyond looking scary?
I haven't played many games where distinctions like this are made, though I would like to.

Usally Paladin or Spellsword

D2 and HoMM3.

>ninja shanks you twice, maybe 4 times
>archers don't give a fuck
>valks outrange you
Almost as bad as BMs desu.
