Well, I agree. I love Dark Souls and I'm a big fan of victorian horror and Lovecraft, so this game was perfect for me.

Pretty sure the point of the webm is to show the massive graphical downgrade that happened

That would be fucking retarded because:
A) No such thing happened (except chromatic aberration was added for some fucking reason)
B) The areas are completely different

I am pretty sure it was supposed to show a combat difference which doesn't even exist.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to make one using the same area, though?

Fromsoft always uses photoshopped effects with their trailers. You can see it in every trailer DS1 - DS3

The only problem with bloodborne was that the game was too short and that were to little weapons, all fixed with the dlc

There's no MASSIVE graphical downgrade.
Only thing different is a little less fog and they got rid of the lighting filter that makes it look more movie like for trailers (which is a good thing).

Also the trailer bit uses a camera angle that no one would actually use.
