There's nothing to refute, Nintendo have fucking zip to do with Pokemon Go.

Piracy on any Nintendo consoles cannot be compared to PSP piracy, the thing was hacked within the first few months and became heavily synonymous with piracy almost immediately allowing its attach rate went to complete shit where despite piracy on Nintendo consoles, it's never affected its attach rate significantly.

Look at the 3DS for example, software sales actually grow despite its piracy and how big the scene is for it.

Pokémon Go must fundamentally be viewed as a glorified Pokémon commercial. Have Nintendo put out any 3DS+Pokémon bundles since its release? Because if not, this is a huge wasted opportunity. Honestly, they should probably have waited on launching it until the NX was about to come out, and launch it with a new Pokémon title.

Although Bloodborne is a kickass game, all the previous instalments have been on sony consoles including one exclusive.
However most Bayonetta 1 fans were excluded from playing the sequel because it released as an exclusive on a console owned by a company that didn't get the first game.
To add insult to injury Bayonetta 1 came with Bayonetta 2 + added content so now Nintendo holds the definitive experience for the Bayonetta franchise.

Nintendo sales Q1 (entire company) --> 62 billion yen

Sony panders to their core fanbase which is made up of a lot of different people with different genres and tastes but they have first party studios built for it and they actually use them and give them creative freedom and funds to deliver.

Nintendo has 1 fanbase to cater to and first party studios built to create games for them but they skipped them and focused efforts in amiibo, mobile and shoddy localization and censorship. They also skipped on developing a proper network infrastructure for digital distribution.

There's many factors to Sony's success and Nintendos failure to grab a hardware audience though another one being Sony is taking Asia as a market for video games very seriously and has been rapidly expanding there for years while Nintendo stands by and allows them to monopolize Asia.

What surprised me most is how big Nintendos userbase is in the Americas, they absolutely love Nintendo there where as Playstation caters to a much wider global audience.

It does not. I own both versions. I completed both versions 100%. I own Bayonetta 1 on 360 digitally, and on disc on Wii U.
