When your home market in your home country or most slavic /asain countries can barely afford good hardware / still use out dated hardware you have to actually optimize your games, something western devs don't understand the concept of.

Still a lot of players will want to try to it and a lot of them won't stay because of Aeria. I mean some Aeria Games have private servers (Aura Kingdom and Shaiya come on the top of my head) that are actually better than Aeria's versions while being run by a small team of enthusiasts.
