It's an emulator that was designed for late 90s toasters so it's loaded down with speed hacks that makes it an inaccurate emulator at best and its sound emulation is definitely one of the worst of any SNES emulator.

Even the devs didn't know how to make it not suck so they abandoned it like 10 years ago. There's a wide variety of graphical and sound errors that you'll experience while using it. Also a lot of games simply refuse to work on it.

You can get yourself one of those bluetooth controllers made to play games on phone, they work perfectly for emulation, and there's a good variety of them too so you can choose whatever you think it's best for you. You can also use Dualshock 3 though it requires a bit of tweaking. I have been using one of these like pic related for years and it didn't dissapoint me.

You guys just don't understand. People use zsnes because of the ghetto effects on the main screen and the fully skinned pseudo-window mode . Add that to any emu and they'll abandon it in favor of the new one. ZSNES has the bling no one else has.

byuu implemented a system that makes a copy of your rom, cleans it of copier headers and stores it in a library directory with some metadata and it's save file rather than just running it in place and retards shit their diapers about it.

It doesn't play most games, it has intense slowdowns and crashes easily.

I've never had any of that happen while using it but I guess someone reliant on zsnes for emulation might.

The "slowdowns" might be because ZSNES had a 40% faster CPU than what the SNES originally had.

Was the only emulator those computers could use and run games at full rate pretty much.

But now that even a 17$ computer can run circles around a pentium 2 266Mhz, it makes no much sense in being used anymore.
