So it's pretty much confirmed the next hero will be Sombra, a stealth character who will likely go invis or something along those lines. There's tons of reference to her in Dorado, and Reaper even has a line that references her by name. Not to mention the voice lines that were found with characters saying things like "I know you're here somewhere" and "where are you hiding" Not to mention Sombra means Shadow in Spanish anyways.
So post your predictions for Sombra, kit, look, backstory etc. Not much to work with so just throw shit out.
As for her kit I'd say they're gonna take the spy from tf2 basically and nerf him and replace disguise with something else. Her primary weapon could be a gun that rapidly shoots out mini orbs like symettras except they'd actually do damage compared to when symettra just spams mini orbs and she would have a higher fire rate.
Her shift is probably going to be an invis, possible though that she could have more to it than just a straight invis, possibly she could dash in a direction sort of like a tracer blink upon activation. The invis would have a timer and a somewhat lengthy cooldown ofcourse. And she would be revealed upon taking any damage.
Her E could be something like Anas sleep dart except instead could maybe swap the controls for the player for a bit making S walk forward and W walk back etc.
As for backstabbing I'd say that would be her alt fire with like a 5 sec cooldown or so. It would do barely more than a melee on face stab. But on backstabbing it would do about 250 making her able to kill anyone except the tanks perhaps She would also have to uncloak before stabbing which would make a sound anyways just like spy. Though she could shoot while invis, the slow moving projectiles giving her away anyways.
Maybe her ult could be like a mei blizzard except it's like a poison grenade that does more when you're in the area but lingers after you leave.
Im partial to the theory that she's an ex overwatch member who had some disease and thusly had to have her conciousness uploaded to a computer. Perhaps she was a tactician or high ranking officer or some shit so they needed to preserve her some way. Reaper may have been close to her while she was both alive as well as a computer. And then comes back to overwatch HQ to steal her back. He is successful which is why after Winston THINKS he stops the upload Athena tells him he did it and then presents him with the Recall and this time doesn't try and stop him from recalling overwatch. Meanwhile reaper who has the actual Athena and not the dummy he left with Winston. Reaper takes her and uploads her to an omnic body much like in OP picture. Sombra/Athena was close to reaper and thusly wants to work with him more or less regardless of the fact that she's been programmed to do so. Part of it is the remnant of her memories of reaper and the other part is that as an AI she must do what reaper has programmed her to do like suck his dick

I'd like them to do something unique with her stealth. If she's literally "shadow" it would be interesting if her cloak was forming to the ground or wall as a 2d slightly visable shadow. I also hope they do something new instead of following "the stealth character sneaks then backstabs" like every other game.
I'm actually not too keen on Overwatch getting a stealth character. It's been nice having a fast paced team shooter where I can focus on the fight and the enemies I can see and kill are the ones that can see and kill me. Adding the paranoia and 'constantly checking my back' factor are things that just slow down gameplay and aren't fun to me. It's also really annoying to be fighting and focusing on the enemy like I should and suddenly getting instakilled and getting to wait 10 seconds to spawn. At least with Widowmaker it's pretty clear where she is when engaging you.

Villain: anti-human, bounty hunter who was later hired by talon to be a sort of commander.
CLASS: Attack
Not sure what is weapons would be, but he sort of dabbles in between a close range and middle-range character. Has lots of body modifications that give him hidden weapons all over his body, similar to Iron Man.
Main weapon is a gun similar to 76's, but doesn't fire as fast. Alternatively, he has very strong physical moves, like an electrically charged punch (aside from his melee, which is just a regular punch) as his shift. His E will be a grenade that shicks people and stuns them for 3 seconds. Has the same splash damage as a Junkrat grenade.

By staying true to her name Sombra will teleport behind an enemy team and be their "shadow". She can tell you where the other foes are hiding or plan to ambush them.
Ultimate is Hack the World: Shoot a laser to an enemy target and you will remote control their actions while giving a boost of 200 for shields.
She'll be a cyborg more than likely, and the second evil bitch besides Symmetra.
