I've seen in some OC threads that people will trace the parts they like from different images. So they'll take an ass from one picture, legs from another, and so on until they have an abomination of perspectives.

no, it's the legs awkwardly placed under it.

I was a D.va player even before the buff, and while the buff made her a lot stronger, I definitely don't think she needed it to be effective, she was just a situational pick. The first couple days after the patch was torture for me, because some random would instalock her, and since 1 hero limit had just been introduced I'd regularly be forced to watch some gutter-tier D.va try to play her like a Reinhardt.

She's taken over Winston's spot as a harassment tank, her defense matrix is an on/off switch. They also made it to where she is no longer killed by her own ultimate, which had 1 second shaved off its detonation, as well as the cost being decreased.
