Make a sequel to the best souls game. I need more doses of qt in black.
Bright souls
they ended the series...
dark souls was a spiritual successor to demons souls right?
spiritual successor to bloodborne
make it happen
This. Have there been any announcements about the DLC?
>more sub 30fps exclusives
pls no
kek
Some kinda trick weapons ala Bloodborne, and armor mattering less.
>consistent 30 fps bothers me
kids these days
>BB
>DeS
>consistent 30fps
Also, the exclusive part also annoys me. I don't want to be forced to play it on my fucking PS4, especially now with the Neo coming out, the game will probably run even fucking worse on the original system.
DLC.
>play through bloodborne regularly
>get about 4-5 fps drops each about 10-15 hour playthrough
wow
wtf
i hate bloodborne now
seriously the only issue actually presented by it being on ps4 is that i can't just casually switch from one game to it on my PC, i have to go, get my ps4, turn it on, and play it, since its the only game i got on that thing and well worth it at that
Armored Core
I've started playing Dark Souls recently without any previous experience, I've made a warrior and kept putting exp in both STR and DEX thinking this will allow me to make more damage and make my attack faster. After getting my ass kicked way too many times I've looked up a few guides like a filthy casual and learned I've probably fucked up beyond repair at this point. Should I start over or just try to GIT GUD?
Also fuck cursed status.
Pic related, when I try going to Blighttown to ring the second bell like faggot at the shrine told me to I get rekt, should I go to Drake Valley or something like that instead?
DEX doesn't speed up attacks, but you're not fucked
What level are you? Post your stats.
Bloodborne sequels.
I believe fromsoft are licensed for two more PS4 games. Likely Sony will pressure them into more Bloodborne especially since Dark Souls is over after the DLC.
We're talking about a dev here who made two more games in a franchise after giving the game before those the subtitle "The Final".
use a quality weapon like the Longsword or Claymore and you're good
I'm using upgraded Drake Sword, should I the longsword or claymore and upgrade the fuck out of it? Also is going back to Undead Asylum a good idea in my situation?
It's not that bad, I'd suggest pumping the vit for now while you just focus on upgrading a quality weapon like halberds
Drake sword is a bad newbie bait weapon, it doesn't benefit from any stats.
Throw that shit out and upgrade your longsword or claymore.
It's probably too early to revisit the undead asylum now. It's not impossible with beginner gear, but it's going to be hard as fuck with your lack of experience.
Never upgrade the fucking drake sword
The drake sword is a garbage crutch that exists basically just to carry you through a bit of the game and then suddenly start blowing ass when every other weapon outscales it
about to buy DS2 scholar of the first sin on pc after getting bored with DS3. what should I expect Sup Forums?
Thanks for the tips, looks like I've wasted a Dragon Scale, but meh, I'll keep trying to git gud.
The hardest areas up to the boss you will ever experience when doing the DLC.
Remember, if you summon you lose.
Square room after square room, graphics from 2004, dudes in armor and user messages on the floor that are more entertaining than the game.
I think the layout of levels in DS1 was worse looking.
The Archives, Crystal Caves, Catacombs, Tomb of Giants are complete shit.
Build variety, branching paths, fun magic, and 60fps
from what i've read the mechanics of DS2 are a little more complex than DS3 like with equipment load relating to stamina regen. I'm sure the game is worth the 10 burger bux i'm about to spend on it. Main thing with ds3 is that i'm just bored of it after 3 playthroughs with me just resorting to using straight swords.
An off feeling. 1&3 feel quite similar. 2 I'd recommended playing before you ever play 1 then 3 to get a since of improvement. That's how I played at least. Tried 1 years ago after realizing I'd played skyrim and completely missed dark souls. Got to the sewers got cursed and quit. Decided to give souls a chance again and went with SOTFS on my Xbone. Played through the base game and a tiny bit of DLC and lost interest. Then my digital copy if 1 became available for the bone and it felt so much better and just way more fun. Then played 3 & genuinely enjoyed the fanservice bits and the overall improvement for from 1 & especially 2. But I didn't play through the games 50 times and get burnt out. Now I spend my time helping people past late game bosses until the DLC. I don't play the PvP meta game because the netcode is shit and getting hit when someone stabbed the air is utter shit.
While DS1 had its fair share of lame looking environments, I can't remember the area design in it ever sinking to King's Field levels.
The archives and crystal caves both look awesome. The catacombs looks like a catacomb. Tomb of the giants is a relatively short area that's pitch black, so how is it bad looking? In fact, I thought it was cool how part way through the level you get a look into both the demon ruins and later, ash lake.
Dark Souls 2 did occasionally have some damn fine views though. Especially in the DLC.
Isn't a new Souls-like game by FROM confirmed already?
I do hope it's not Bloodborne 2
And on the other hand you have such gems like this:
i've played 1 and 3. I've never touched 2. I'm pretty much done with 3. Just looking for something to play before classes start up.
Just finished DS2. Should I wait until a price-drop or the DLC release to pick up DS3, or is it worth it just to pick it up now on Steam?
I really want a new armored core but like AC4 instead of 5.
I hated how limited you were to how high you could go when all I did in 4 was fly through the sky and and dart around.
...
They have three games in development. One's another Action RPG with a fantasy setting, the other one's "something new" and the third one was implied to be Armored Core.
You may find some enjoyment in 2 everyone is different. But I started it up after having beaten it before, but after a play through of 1, fought two bosses and had zero fun making my way through the environments. It plays like a chore to me. There's just more fun in 1 and 3 maybe they're easier but only in the sense that playing through the areas before the boss dont always feel cheap. Except those health sucking whores in irythill dungeon.
cyberpunk ds
Mech games and new IPs, Soulsfag.
Did you defeat Gaping Dragon? If so, you could go into the catacombs close to firelink shrine. There is nothing in Drake Valley.
Also you could just persevere. Blighttown is notorious for its difficulty. Especially the poison is annoying.
>One's another Action RPG with a fantasy setting
Blodbone 2
Its way more fun than 2 of you're not a real soulsfag that played them to death and just wants to complain.
No but it's fair to assume they'll announce something at TGS happening in about 2 weeks, seeing as they announced the Old Hunters at TGS.
that's exactly the part I'm at right now with my pyromancer in DS3. I guess i've just hit the point with DS3 where it feels like a chore since I know every cheap spot going through each area.
I don't want them to because that shit needs to be a game of it's own. It made most builds worthless because all that mattered were rifles, FCS, and boosters.
I've just played through DaS and DaS2 once. I hear 3 is a bit more linear which might be a welcome change honestly. Playing the first two games blind was a fucking hassle at certain points. Some parts of them are ridiculously obtuse, and really the only way to get a semblance of direction is to talk to all the NPCs and read key item descriptions, which isn't really very rewarding, and it's normally not even that helpful.
Is PVP still pretty active? It's the one thing I;m slightly disappointed to have missed in the first two, so I'm happy to pay full price for DS3 if the PVP is still going strong.
Miyazaki already publicly denied Dark Souls IV and Bloodborne 2
>I hear 3 is a bit more linear which might be a welcome change honestly.
It's not. The game gets a bit boring and it's a chore to replay.
Also
>Is PVP still pretty active?
Yes.
LMAO B-TEAM AMIRITE
>Miyazaki makes a brand new game called Black Spirits.
>It's literally just another Souls game, but people eat that shit up because they love it.
>cyberpunk souls
>people are turning in robot because of people secretly infecting them with robo-virus
>literally bloodborne - cyberpunk edition
I need more cyberpunk in my life, dammit
I much prefer his other game, Unlit Essence.
me2
Ok your stats are alight but attun, int and faith are too high if your just a pure warrior.
My advice is forget dex for a time and focus on str,end and vit also res.
I suggest you shoot the hellfire dragon on the bridge is in the tail 20 times with a bow to get the drake sword whice should carry you till pass Anor lando boss fight with snorlax and pikachue
I prefer using hand axes caus they cause good stagger for 1 handed allowing you to R1 spam most enermies.
Start dumping xp into endurance and vitality
>souls is dead
>new mech game coming
DON'T GET THE FUCKING DRAKE SWORD
It becomes shit even before Anor Londo, and almost every other weapon in the game outclasses it when upgraded.
I did the same clock ds3 b4 ds2 sotfs
The massive drop in quality and bullshit areas also made me drop the game 2-3 times.
The diffetculty curve for ds2 is fucked. The game starts unforgiving, get easier, revs it up to 13 shades of hard then becomes a qal in the park.
Didnt help i was taking on the rotten and lost sinner in my low lvl 30s cause the game doesnt tell you if the boss is for later on.
>The diffetculty curve for ds2 is fucked.
That's legitimately the best part about 2. There is a definite path of progression, but it's very open, and you can do anything at any time basically.
Also, I just replayed all of these, and I remembered how much I liked the story of Demon's Souls, even if there's less of it. Something about going around just killing these demons who all have their own reasons and motivations for doing what they do really satisfies me. Feels less like high fantasy and more like Scott Pilgrim or something, as dumb as it sounds.
I like that desu. 3 is a bit too hand-holdy.
hopefully something like sci-souls happens
going back to dark souls 2 after dark souls 3, i can say ds2sotfs is much harder
and the only reason for that is because you cant spam rolls like ds3
>diffetculty
>qal
You might just be legitimately retarded
THE SAME
BUT WITH MOTHER FUCKING SPACE PIRATE
id play the blame game
>Be a pcfag
>never play bloodborne, aka the best souls in the serie
youtube.com
LMAO
claymore best swordfu
>What's Next?
Blood Souls
Dark Demons
Happy Souls
Demon's Blood
Darkborne
10/10 would play
Maybe radiation souls, in a nuclear wasteland filled with mutant abominations
