When it comes to JRPG, which of these lesbians do you agree with?
When it comes to JRPG, which of these lesbians do you agree with?
But Yui is the only straight one in the group.
You call this a manzai?
You call those lolis lesbians?
>But barely winning is what makes it good!
This is objectively correct.
>only straight one in the group.
I just play normally and if i die to a boss only then I go grind (if possible) and come back to rape the shit out of it.
Well yeah in groups of three someone has to be the non lesbian.
I fight as much as possible.
If there's an enemy in my sight I'll fight it.
I go face the boss whenever, and if I can't beat it, that means I come back later/have to grind. JRPGs are not about any sort of "challenge" and any such drama surrounding beating the boss is fairly low-key due to you hardly doing anything to affect the outcome.
Left has better tastes and is better looking.
JRPG is a failure. Repetitive labor of grinding can ensure you beating any boss. When there is no strategy needed, it loses the meaning of a game.
what does Sup Forums think of yuri
Kyouko once again demonstrating why she is best girl.
>ever losing in a jrpg
Hand over your testicles.
Elegant, noble, superior…?
Left. I honestly hate feeling over leveled.
Left, though most JRPGs are pretty easy and have anti-grinding measures, like XP gain that scales with your level. In games with heavy emphasis on character customization it's just more efficient to try another build or party composition than to brute force your way through.
I hate this kind of logic.
>Can beat the game easily without grinding
>Someone is shit at the game and keeps dying
>Grinds because they can't beat something
>Is actually able to win and continue on with the game, rather than getting stuck forever
>Complains about the game being bad because you "Need to grind", rather than understanding they were bad and the game gave them a method to make up for their poor ability to play
I know your post isn't actually serious, but those kinds of people bother me so much. Yes there are JRPGs/RPGs where you do need to grind, but most of them aren't like that.
>When there is no strategy needed, it loses the meaning of a game
Strategy isn't always needed per se, but it'll save you hours of grinding, so yeah, getting good is still rewarded
>left
>normal person
>right
>DSP Gaming
>Repetitive labor of grinding can ensure you beating any boss
That's not a feature exclusive to JRPGs. Any game with level based stat progression will end up like that.
The one on the right, but not because I'm afraid I'll lose. I just like the feeling of completely steam rolling a boss.
>tfw hitting level 500+ before fighting gordon in disgaea
>I feel barely winning is what makes it good
>but I always do side quests first before main one due to my autism
>by the time i finish side quests, I am overleveled/overgeared for main quest boss
Even better when people beat those "grindy" games with the lowest level possible. It's quite amazing what you can achieve with proper planning and setup.
A well designed game will make sure you're the right level to fight the boss if you defeat all the enemies you find on the path to it.
I found pokemon and tartarus in P3 are good examples of this.
>not running from fights while fully exploring dungeons is enough to be overlevelled in most games
this is fucking bullshit
Best neighbors I could ask for.
The left lesbian
Why isn't /u/ next to /y/ and /lgbt/?
Depends on the game. In say, Pokemon? Almost impossible to not curbstomp the bosses. In something like pic? It's almost impossible to grind enough to curbstomp the bosses, they will always take a long time if you want to survive the battle.
Also is this the anti-bully ranger show?
Yui is as gay as all the other girls, she just doesn't have pussy on the brain 24/7 like Kyouko.
Odd, I usually make this thread, but now it was someone else.
More games should control and limit growth so you still feel like you are progressing but aren't able to cheese it. Most games don't pull this off correctly and it is just the safer bet.
Someone is about to get BTFO.
>lesbians
It's just adolescence.
...out of character?
Obviously it's more fun when you discover secrets without a strategy guide or wiki. But I remember the days when NES games were so difficult because there was literally nothing to help you aside from Nintendo power and word of mouth.
Kyouko has better taste, but I like Yui more. I mean, seriously, is there a better fucking feeling than toppling a faggot that's statistically better than you?
Anti-bully rangers are too strong.
Yeah it is nerd.
Right is a huge fucking casual
Tomato chan
>not knowing yuruyuri
watch it. It's legit really good.
I don't believe you.
No it really is. It's basically just a funny gag show with some light yuri elements.
Kyoko once again best girl
This is objectively correct.
Wow you really did a great job of not convincing me at all.
I refuse to grind. To me, grinding means I've failed.
Your loss then. Doesn't affect me in any way.
I want /u/ to make believe it's the first time
>It's almost impossible to grind enough to curbstomp the bosses, they will always take a long time if you want to survive the battle.
Alright, you got me slightly interested in the game. Is it worth getting, or was it just useful as an example?
Why are there two neps
...
What about a game that doesn´t let you grind?
Post the original. There are two japanese versions of Return of Werdna, by the way.
One of them was recently translated, right? We even had a thread about it but no one said what made it different.
Throb of Demon Heart was translated recently but that's more like the first three games with the races added in Bane of the Cosmic Forge. IIRC the PS1 version of Return of Werdna had an english text option despite being a Japan only game. It's not as brutal as the original since you can control the monsters.
>fighting boss
>boss is nearly dead
>boss uses move that wipes out the entire party save for one character
>miraculously beat the boss with your one final character
>beating boss gives massive amounts of xp
>fainted characters can't earn xp
Etrian Odyssey in a nutshell.
>Carefully manage party so that everyone has the same exp amount.
>Dropping old members from the party to grind out the difference when new members join.
>A part comes up where you have to play as certain characters.
