imo there probably is an actual MGS3 remake in the works, not just the pachinko machine.

MGS3 remake using assets from the pachinko machine is the most plausible theory for Konami's next game. And the PR guy for Konami stated they were working on another actual Metal Gear Solid video game.
My bet is if the game ever comes out, cutscenes will be perfect but gameplay will lack and miss key things.

Honestly I never thought there was actually meant to be a real Chapter 3. To me it was like "See You at the 14th Gundam Fight", it's just to show that what we saw was one part of a bigger overall narrative. I never believed there were meant to be more missions besides Episode 51.

It would either be okay or terrible. Metal Gear is a pretty barebones game to begin with.

it's just their requisite 'GOTY Edition' DLC bundle. It will be GZ+MGSV in one package, possibly with a handful of cool new features like playable Battle Gear or additional Mother Base random events.

Snake wasn't augmented, though. By all accounts, he should have been inferior to Big Boss. In theory, Liquid, being a clone made from all of Big Boss's best traits as a soldier while leaving out anything that might be considered less desirable, should have been the greatest soldier to have ever lived.

Liquid was the stronger soldier. Even in MGSV he's a freak of nature with how many rubber bullets he can take. Liquid only died on Shadow Moses because he was infected with FOXDIE.

Also you misunderstand genetics if you think recessive genetic traits are always bad.

Additionally, Solidus was a perfect clone of Big Boss. Wearing a powered suit. And Raiden took him down with a sword. So I'd actually say that Raiden was pretty high up there too.

Well, a big theme in Snake's story is that genes don't decide your value. In the end, despite Liquid's ludicrous toughness, Snake did beat him in hand-to-hand combat.

Funnily enough, Snake seems to beat Liquid in every category EXCEPT endurance. And total known languages.

I think they should remake the MSX games. Great way to test the waters with a new dev team, no need to worry about the story, only a few retcons here and there to fix the bullshit plotholes 5 caused, and people have been asking for a remake since MGS1.
