>That game you could not get into no matter how hard you tried
What's her name?
>That game you could not get into no matter how hard you tried
What's her name?
Deus Ex.
So fucking boring, I've playing that "masterpiece" like 5 or 6 times and get so bored after the first level.
Any modern shooter.
I am growing weaker.
White Knight Chronicles. Both games. Jesus Christ how did we go from Rogue Galaxy to that shit, I'll never know.
Dishonored and any milsim.
Street Fighter IV
Bought it like three different times over the years and still could never get into it.
Animal Crossing
It's just so slow but it's so cute man
Pokemon mistery dungeon
It feels so boring, not even hard, just plain boring
All the classic 2D Sonic games. I just don't care for that style of platformer.
Disgaea
I'm not nearly autistic enough to enjoy grinding in an SRPG
Fallout 1 & 2
Dishonored
ARK:Survival """""Evolved""""""
It runs like shit no matter what, the gameplay just feels bland and it has no intuitive. Not to mention its just dinosaurs, trees and C4.
Has anyone played the new update? It could be promising but iunno.
Atelier games.
Tried Rorona, Totori, and Meruru
i can overlook the dumb but expected cutesy/retarded dialogue, complete lack of a compelling primary plotline, and even the game dropping to 5 fps in tiny towns, but when the entire gameplay consists of doing MMO fetch-quest tier chores for people, i get dead bored within
Nigger that game was fun as fuck.
Arma 3. It's just too boring and slow paced in my opinion.
Armored Core 4
Planescape Torment, so much fucking text
morrowind
Monster Hunter. I tried three times but I just couldn't get into it.
It was literally "The princess is in another castle" The Game.
Shit sucked.
Monster Hunter
Demon's Souls
The Elder Scrolls, though I haven't given up trying yet
tower defense games
ASSFAGGOTS after LoL. I've seen the core issues the genre has as a massively multiplayer game
I was just like you.
I tried multiple times, never got into it.
I picked up Monster Hunter Generations and the introduction to the game is nice, actually.
FFXII, only a tin can has less soul than that shit.
Dark Souls
Hotel Dusk
>Hotel Dusk
How? it's literally comfy the game
ANY mystery dungeon game.
I want to play the Pokemon ones, but I cannot stand the dynamics of MD games.
I don't like the 1-1, you move, enemy moves thing. Especially when I'm escorting someone and all the faggot enemies target them first.
I wish there was a code that just stops all enemy movement forever.
It was way too slow-paced and the dialogue was wordswordswords when the point could have come across with way fewer words.
And this is coming from an Ace Attorney fan.
Fallout NV. It's not bad, but I lose interest really really quickly for some reason
Mortal kombat. Just fucking no. Mk is autism. I'd play any other fighter, bloody or not, besides that shit
Dota 2, hots, lol. Tried getting into It to have something in common with my normie friends. Mobas are just so boring and the players are worse assholes than online fps ones
Ys. It's just tedious.
XCOM
>99% to hit
>miss
who enjoys this
Any of the souls games.
Their atmosphere and story are so fucking boring.
Witcher 3
Combat felt slow as fuck for me.
Both Metro games
>souls games
Same here, still don't get all the praise that series got.
Guilty gear xrd, I was enjoying it when I improved little by little but the realization that I would have to invest alot of time into it put me off
Deus Ex
VtMB
It's even more boring when your guys finally git gud and practically every shot is a guaranteed hit.
BDO, PSO2, Tera
My friends easily got into these games but I couldn't last very long in any of them.
Dwarf Fortress
Planescape Torment
keep playing, youll be kissing its ass eventually
Serious Sam
Little Big Planet or any games like that.
I'm just not creative enough to have fun in them
Tibia
OutLast. That game isn't fun. At all no way.
Oblivion and Skyrim, most soulless games I've ever played. And I like Fallout too, so it's not like I don't like that style of game. I also enjoy fantasy, but for whatever reason Elder Scrolls does zero for me.
BioShock.
Loved the atmosphere and the lore. Loved exploring and listening to those tapes.
But I just got sick of fetch quest after fetch quest, and constantly backtracking for fetch quests. I got as far as the greenhouse shit just before rescuing the guy's family, and I just got sick of it. Tried replaying a year later on the hardest difficulty and I kept trying to rush through back to where I left off, and I kept fucking up and dying. Tried again a few months later, and somehow fucked up on the first Big Daddy. Literally no ammo left, all the oil puddles and shit had been used - there was literally no way to beat him.
Also hated the fucking gunplay and controls. People give GTA IV shit for the movement and aiming being so heavy and sluggish, but BioShock was a fucking nightmare. Especially in an FPS (read as: not a fucking RPG where the enemies have levels) where headshots don't fucking do anything.
Also didn't help that I already knew the twist, since every motherfucker and their grandma heard about it once people first beat it and started just fucking talking about it openly because they were so blown away and amazed.
Neptunia.
Bought it because I wanted in on the dank memes but fuck me that game is boring.
League and Dota 2.
WoW.
Stellaris
Kerbal
I've tried so many times, but I've realized that some games just aren't for me.
Are you SERIOUS?
>those smash/brawler whatever Nintendo games
I'll play them at my buddies house with other people to not be a downer, but they just aren't fun at all to me. Maybe for like 2 matches then I just get so bored. The only fun I have is spamming that yellow pokemans lightning attack over and over and over until someone rages. I'm a shitter, no need to tell me.
The AAAAAHHHHH fags give me ptsd
...
What didn't you like about them user? Not gonna call you a faggot or anything, just genuinely curious as those are some of the most immersive fun I've had in a game.
Witcher 3 I finished the first and second game but the pointless open world shit of 3 just does not appeal to me.
>that yellow pokemans
try harder
Still any Souls games for me.
I just don't get why they place you 10 minutes away from a boss when you die. It just bores me to run all the way back to the boss only to die when I get his health bar down halfway, and do it all over again.
They could easily place you outside the boss's room, just to save time.
Spelunky
You don't know all the twists if you only got to the part before "saving the guys family".
I'm not gonna spend 20 minutes trying to spell that faggots name, you knew who I was talking about. Peek achoo
Everybody knows about the whole "Would you kindly" twist. Shit was ruined for anyone that didn't beat it within a few days of release.
Fallout, Mass Effect, Bioshock and all of these other highly praised wetern developed games that you can buy for 75% off on steam and that sit on your library for years.
STOP TRIGGERING ME
Nigga sos Mario. Doesn't change that both were fun as fuck.
i know this is late and everyone says this but the story really does pick up after liberty island. it took me forever to "get". i'd say just watch a walkthrough. it's really interesting how they built a world where every conspiracy theory was correct and they are all woven together so well.
>Doesn't know how to spell Peakatyou
I feel the same way. It's a fucking awful game that's basically what every early access survival crafting game is, only with dinosaurs and less optimization.
This. Simply having quicksaves would make the whole game pretty trivial, I guess.
I was referring to the fact there is no family to save. Dude is stringing you along the whole time
Not him but the weird gunplay (i could never Tell if i hit the enemy) and ridiculous constant shortage of ammo really put me off. The atmosphere was great tho, like stalker on steroids
I got to the part where you had to carry the kid on his back and I just didn't feel like playing anymore, it's weird too because I was actually enjoying the game until then, and i've tried multiple times just to get past that part and continue onward, I just lost interest.
Last Light, I played for a couple of hours and nothing in the game was interesting enough to me to hold my attention.
Lost Planet. Is it supposed to be boring as hell? I just want to fight ayy lmaos not all this snow pirate shit.
...
Natalie.
I mean... Final Fantasy II and IV and onwards.
I'm too used to getting a party of custom-made nobodies.
Or maybe the stories are not that engaging. Or i just simply can't get into them.
V's the tits, though. A shame i always drop it around the end of the first world.
It's guys fooling themselves into thinking challenge is the only thing you need to carry a good game.
Too bad they forgot that challenge is pointless if there's no reason to progress the story.
>(i could never Tell if i hit the enemy)
Uh, what? There are hitmarkers, dude.
Or was that only added in Redux?
Mother 3. Tried it several times and never draws me in.
Terraria. I enjoy exploring but the progression is just two slow for me to really enjoy any other aspect of the game.
Stalker. Played it when it was released. Have tried to get into it 2-3 times, but it is an apologetically boring game with bad gameplay.
I even tried it with all the mods people suggest, but its just not working out.
Shh dont talk to literal plebs. Let him dwell in weebshit and Dark souls
Bioshock. Everything about this game makes me mad, and yet I want to play it because everyone says how good it is.
STALKER: SoC
I got to the town(whatever it was called) where the arena was, but then I lost my save and I can't be arsed to do it all again. Having to unload a whole clip on a grunt is no fun, neither is savescumming.
Also Archanum. I've played Planescape Torment and absolutely loved it, but Archanum was unplayable. I just couldn't hit any enemy, the companion died in most battles, and the map was a mess. I hope some day I won't be such a casual so I can play it properly, if I can get the gist of it I'm sure I'll love it. But man it was horrible.
>Dota 2
>Fallout 2
>Just Cause 2
>Payday 2
>Trine 2
But I've recently just got into Borderlands 2, and Battlefield Bad Company 2
Stalker
Terreria.
Resonance of Fate. I kept putting it off for the longest time and I finally decided I'd do a full run, but it got so repetitive and boring that I completely ran out of patience at about chapter six. People said that it got better later on but if the core gameplay is shallow as fuck and the combat system is really that fucking slow, it's not worth it.
Maybe i rememered It wrong but there was something off with the gunplay
I actually liked It after release bc It was something New. Tried replaying soc or the newer ones and they bored me to death
Dragon's Dogma.
>"Get this, user! It's amazing! If you like Dark Souls, you'll like this!"
I start the game. The intro is pretty good, but it's all downhill from there. NPC potato faces, fetch quests. Companions spam dialog like they have Alzheimers.
>GOBLINS ILL LIKE FIRE. WOLVES HUNT IN PACKS! THEY HATE FIRE! GOBLINS ILL LIKE FIRE! We are victorious. We are victorious.
OKAY I FUCKING GET IT. SHUT THE FUCK UP.
I don't know about Redux, but there's definitely no hitmarkers in the original release.
And thank fuck for that, what a nonsense addition.
Borderlands.
It's hipster tier garbage.
That kid carrying part is total bullshit and actually turned me off from the game for a little bit. Use a shotgun and rush, don't even bother trying to loot that section with the never ending enemies. Waste more resources than you'll find. Thankfully that section is short and the surface part directly after is GOAT. Highly recommend trying to pick it back up. Last light is great but only after completing the first one because you'll want more from it and its nice how its a direct continuation. 2033 is way better though aside from a few chapters and enemy variety in last light, some amazing surface sections in that one. As for you
The gunplay in metro is super tight. You aim at their head and they're dead period. Super accurate weapons which is great. I personally love trying to use the silenced revolver as much as I can but the ak and shotguns are just so sexy. You too should give it another shot and once you get a feel for the gunplay I know you'll love it as well
>having to unload a whole clip on a grunt
If you are ever tempted to play SoC again, don't use vipers, any pistols, shotguns with buckshot, any of the AKMs besides the fast-shooting one or the obokan. They are all so laughably bad that the game becomes trivial the moment you get something better. With any decent gun, you can easily one or two hit any enemy in the game besides a few of the mutants. Also, play on master. STALKER is one of those shitty games where you have to know the right way to play it to have any chance of enjoying it and even still most people won't like it.
The Last of Us.
Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga
I cannot get invested in that game for some reason. I know I should love that game, but I just can't do it. I've tried a handful of times over the years to start it and try my best but I just can't do it.
I always lose interest no matter what.
God Hand.
I love the humor, the characters, the music, and I like the gameplay IN THEORY, but in reality, I just can't get good at it.
I'm forever stuck replaying the first four or five stages whenever I get the urge to play it, the remember why I stopped last time and instantly give up.
I still consider it a great game, though.
Dark Souls
Diablo III
Dota 2
Spent 12+ hours in each but never got into any of them
Nigga I think borderlands is shit too but do you even know what the word hipster means?
I barely had any choic of weaponry.
I had the starter pistol, two more pistols which were mediocre, the shotgun and two kinds of AK. I only used the rapid fire one from that stash mission. I can't remember if I got more gear after the town though.
Every Souls game. Both the Bayonettas. I want to like these games so bad.
This one too.
Bitch if you spent more than 20 minutes you got into them. 12 hours? Are you shitting me?
