during the launch of tortanic ea/bioware made it incredibly difficult to unsubscribe from the game, even going so far as to ban people who were talking about how to do it
it was so bad people started giving chargebacks on their cards and shit, eventually they put an unsubscribe button but it was after they had at least the first month from people as far as i know
