I've only touched the demo but it came off as an okay little platformer/action game.

I played this game a lot when I was younger. I still have it. That being said, I think it's good for what it is. It can be frustrating at times, but it isn't that hard to beat the game. It picks up after the 8th level or so. It's better than you think.

Worth paying 7 bucks for?

It's surprisingly good. Chakram mechanic is neat.
There is one really annoying escort mission. Stalactites can be broken with chakram.

I was really dumb and fought with the cyclops way longer that was really necessary.

I definitely think so. I loved Hercules and Xena as a kid. The N64 Hercules game was shit and so was the N64 Xena game. So I didn't expect much from the game, but it's actually not bad at all. You can beat it within a day, but still, it's a fun time if you're a fan of the show. The cyclops is a memorable boss. It also has enough variety in its levels to keep you interested. It's a hidden gem on the PS1.

You're talking about the amazon forest levels, right? Those were pretty bad. The levels in Hell and the ones towards the end were great, though. The level with the giants was spooky as fuck as a kid.

My pc is dead and I got a couple bucks I might get it and The Warriors game on my xbox.

Sounds fun regardless.

Amazon forest were pretty great just for giving you the opportunity to wreck shit up with a picked up staff.

The worst level was the spider one. That boss at the end was bullshit. Every time I've replayed over the years, I just mash to win.

It is pretty fun. I think the game is on the PS2 as well, but I've never played it. I heard it's just as good. You've inspired me to replay it and masturbate to Lucy Lawless. Tonight is a great night.
