I enjoy things that follow a genre I'm familiar with

it's good, not having to use the wiimote is a blessing.

It's pretty damn good.

Hope you know your Geography, though, because if you don't one of the bosses will fuck you up.

It's definitely good, and it doesn't quite look like it at first but it's completely crazy

it was heavily casualized and the story makes the princess' relationships way too sugary. also since it was on vita it had a lot of loading and framerate issues

Having to use the wiimote was this game's and many other wii game's main flaw to me, being able to use mouse controls is going to be great.

No, it ends with after defeating the rat king that was causing the earthquakes and ate your waifu, the protagonist meets the creator of your world who you the king are based on.

All your harem leaves you except one, that one gets eaten by the rat king. Also it just turns out the whole world was inside of a playset, or was a dream, or some shit. It never clarifies. The world only ends up as destroyed as the rats make it during the fight.

It's certainly not a dream, the Corobo is alive. He's just a toy, king of a toy kingdom made up by the creator. What happens after they meet and the boy discovers that his little toy people he made have come to life, who knows

Whoa. This is certainly a surprise. I remember this coming out around the same time The Whispered World was released for PC, and it having a similar ending that disappointing me.

Try walking a full formation down a field with any amount of enemies or a town.

I thought it's revealed in the credits that all of the princesses were all dreamed up from women in the real boy's world - the bustiest one being his teacher or something.

I've got a friend that got a review code of the port, AVOID IT. The game runs like shit, has a bunch of graphical glitches, doesn't support changing the settings in-game, and doesn't even support mouse input.

My Life as a King had nothing BUT city building. It was an early Wii Ware game.

FFXIII almost makes me barf even harder though.

yup, it's target audience ended up being way smaller than they planned
fortunately, the sequels cut costs and its fanbase is small but dedicated. they are happy there in their corner on Steam now.

it's a simple RTS, you just amass units, plan what formations to use in several situations and ram into enemy forces hoping you can overpower them.

They really aren't anywhere yet though.

They might recoup some investment with sequels, but going down that road will weed out even more old time fans.

The really slaughtered that game in the name of animu fan pandering.

Some of shit looking characters look better though. Anime generic, yes, but better. Fatass and the last two especially.

it won't go down that road any further than the other iterations did.
the XIII trilogy is no different than IV/TAY, X/X-2, Tactics/Adv and XII/RW
