Yeah definitely see where you're coming from. Jalopy seems like trying to stretch as many miles out of your car as you can. This game seems a little more idle- create your own fun. The barrier to entry seems a lot higher with this game also because you have to build the engine correctly without any sort of tutorial.

Legitimately the game I'm most hyped for this year, the leak was great.
It's absolutely not a game for everyone, it's a one-man effort to make a game that only he and a handful of madmen would find fun. As someone with literally no understanding of cars, learning how to put together an engine by googling schematics and shit was a deeply entertaining experience.
