What's the highest damage count ever shown in video games?
disgea.jpg
probably something from disgaea
>99million
lol have a look at disgaea
Probably disgaea
disgea thread guys? disgea thread
youtube.com
Disgaea thread?
BILLIONS
I
L
L
I
O
N
S
obviously disgaea
even trophies for doing 10 billion damage and it's not even that high and keeps going
not sure which disgaea allows the highest damage though, Disgaea D2 did get you the highest stats (went back down in D5 since no rasetsu mode) but not sure if it translated into highest damage
Diablo 3
Disgaea and Mugen Souls no fucking contest
HAY GUISE! BIGGER NUMBERS MEAN MORE FUN!
.....R-RIGHT?
mugen souls wasn't that high
even my galaxy drop with almost maxed stuff didn't do that much
unless talking mugen souls Z, didn't play that so no idea
As others have said, but I think Xeno X is a little unusual in the range of damage you can do with fairly low stats and levels.
Daaaaamn how long did that take im steal grinding my ass of in the mugen field, spent 50s hours alone trying to max level my characters
undertale
hostile reminder this is a thread for distracting us from serious issues
>make normal counter
>add billion at the end
IT MAKES BILLIONS OF DAMAGES GUYS! XD LOL SO RANDOM!
disgaea most likely
I was at around 300-350 hours played when I got platinum, forgot exactly
I don't recall leveling being a big deal by the end (getting 9999 of every shampurus except 2 types was the worst part), but don't remember that well been 3 years since I played it
like what pokemon go ?
Clicker heroes.
i was the 2nd person to kill that mob on western release, literally missed first by an hour was pretty triggered
got first on the level 96 robot though
Here you go.
This
Probably Star Ruler
You can build galaxy sized ships if your technology is high enough. Since the game scales infinitely, everything from technology to ship sizes is can theorectically reach the max 32 bit limit for integers.
I think the quasar at the center of the galaxy has 100+ quadrillion hp. And your ships will reach that easily if you continue to scale them. You could build a ship that one-shots it if you so desired.
Unfortunately you'd probably have to mine the entire galaxy of materials to build a ship that could do it, but it is possible.
Probably something from platform masters if Uli ever implements it.
Undertale when chara destroys the world.
i think disgaea
like not in the way of "lmao we add *billion* at the end of every number so its high"
in disgaea you start from hitting 10-15 damage and gradually get higher and higher as you stack up more attack power until you get damage numbers you cant even read
This game is fucking insane. I don't think there's any videogame set in space with more powerful starships.
>Unfortunately you'd probably have to mine the entire galaxy of materials to build a ship that could do it, but it is possible.
>he didn't figure out the positive feedback loop where once technology reaches high enough levels you can produce ore from essentially nothing
My man, beat me to it.
>he didn't figure out the positive feedback loop where once technology reaches high enough levels you can produce ore from essentially nothing
Goddamn, I never considered that. I usually had freighters constantly hauling materials all across the galaxy. I assumed it was coming from them.
YOU USED TO HIDE, BEHIND ANOTHER FACE
AT FIRST I DIDN'T, UNDERSTAAAND
Starships in this game are really advanced. So fucking advanced that they can have quantum compressed cargo bays with more space inside them than the size of the ship.
They can hold ships in their hangers that are bigger than they are themselves.
Of course this insane level of tech only come from EXTREME late-game, like 18 hours in.
Pretty much anything Disgaea as others said, trophies for 100billion damage, and I'm sure there's insane Japanese people out there who've tripled that.
Level 9999 reborn max amount of times, with all level 9999 weapons and gear..
Man, I just remember fucking around with cheats on with my friends and seeing if we could make inpenetrable walls of defenses.
This was years ago though
unironically this. for once the answer is actually undertale
...
Would you count infinity? I think Xenoblade did that.
>Reaching the point where you can make a Matroyshka doll of death with a solar system sized ship inside of a smaller ship inside of a smaller ship inside of a smaller ship inside of a smaller ship inside of a smaller ship inside of a smaller ship inside of a smaller ship inside of an undetectable, impossible to hit probe
It worked too well
Hitting max stats isn't so hard in most disgaea, in D5 I even had a full team of them rather than a 1-3 overpowered few.
Earliest disgaea lacked much damage boosters I think, and later ones have a lot of caps on them.
I think Disgaea 3 (the in-between) might be the most broken when it comes to huge numbers.
No one going to post that Mugen damage?
Diablo 3
Probably a clicker game
>waging a huge, galaxy-wide, war with another superbly advanced alien race
>there are many smaller empires of simpler species ranging from Star Wars levels of tech where their proudest achievements are mere Death Stars to even lesser races which would be almost more akin to where we are today
>these lesser species mainly go about their business uninterrupted while me and this other race duke it out, they occasionally see a flash from another solar system as a star is popped by one of us in an attempt to wipe the solar system
>eventually our technology reaches a point where our prime flagships are so advanced that they are capable of regenerating their internal components, armour and shielding all in an instant (to destroy one you have to deal enough damage in a single hit alone to snap it, otherwise it just instantly materialises what it lost, the damage required is well in excess of what it would take to destroy a super massive star)
>two such vessels meet in a system inhabited by a lesser species who have successfully spread amongst the solar system but not far beyond, dozens of little mining ships go to and from the asteroid belts working away diligently, there are some colonies floating about in space and maybe tens to twenty billion individuals spread amongst the 3 planets in the solar system
>everything and everybody is suddenly snuffed out of existence as the two ships commit to their most basic level of attack: merely expanding their very shields out to disintegrate anything below a certain damage threshold, entire worlds just vanish and only the star is left for a moment before repeated pulses of the shields cause it to go super novae. It's a stand-off anyway and both ships retreat out because neither can twist the fabric of space hard enough with their main method of attack to instantly pop the other
It's a shame Star Ruler 2 is so different. I refunded it after an hour.
Star Ruler is a game I'll always come back to. And the mods make it even better.
I was going to say Disgaea too but then I remembered pic related.
>infinite damage
/thread
but that's cheating!
Name a video game character that can survive an attack that deals infinite damage
Dante using Royal Guard
He'll even reflect it back onto your ass.
Loads of games have temporary invincibility actually.
All of those in the same pic plus all the party members left behind.
All pokémons with sturdy or a focus sash. Also Shedinja.
Are you okay?
Sorry Sup Forums, it's definitely undertale.
What's the highest speed count shown in video games?
Is that actual damage or just some "put red numbers that have no functional value on the screen" quirk? Who receives this damage?
Driving in reverse in Big Rigs
No one. It's supposedly another 4th wall joke. Even then, it's dramatized so that the game overloads and crash
If someone is as gigantic as a galaxy and suddenly his nose itches, must he wait light years for his arm to reach his nose?
Sounds awful.
Can anything top Infinity times 1600 plus big bang bonus damage?
What do you mean? This is the result of the final boss fought during the bad ending.
Funny you posted a Simpsons reaction image.
>Name a video game character that can survive an attack that deals infinite damage
You/the "game" itself receives the damage.
Pointless bullshit so.
...
More like this.
There's a mobile game called attack on moe where you can do like 10^100 or some bullshit like that
Go find them yourself tcrf.net
...
What do you mean by that?
The European version of the TMNT Arcade NES port does the same thing.
In Xenoblade near the very end you predict an attack by a continent sized giant swinging a country sized sword at the continent sized giant your species lives on.
It does infinity damage to everyone and everything on your giant.
literally any video game character with invincibility frames
This Star Ruler thing sounds pretty cool, but is it any fun? It's $17 on Steam right now, might get it later.
more like he reduces the damage to 10
>said attack could've stopped a tyrant, but the goody-two-shoes hero prevented it
If you enjoy 4x games like Stellaris or Star Drive, yeah, it's fun. Albeit much more complicated.
>galaxy sized ship
Fucking stupid.
Trillion lets you do Billions of damage on the regular.
>TvC, a Wii game
>Capcom roster includes guys who did not have games on Nintendo consoles, IE Frank West, Alex, or the robot from Lost Planet
>MvC3, a PS3/360 game
>Capcom roster includes characters who are best known for being on Nintendo consoles, like Arthur, Phoenix Wright, or Zero
It always baffled me.
Dead Rising technically had a Wii port.
>A vision!
>Bionis Slash X
The one with carnage monster weapons you could steal. 3 maybe? Forget. Was broken.
Bayonetta measures in gigatons
>shorten the size of the mall
>cut out some areas of the mall
>removed several melee weapons and attack moves in exchange for more guns
>cut out a shit load of cutscenes
>changed some of the psychopaths to zombies
>removed the camera feature
>decreased zombie on screen count
>removed the outdoor parking lot minigame
>removed the jump feature
I know the Wii was graphically incapable of running a game like dead rising but I think Capcom made a lot more alterations to the game than was needed. Especially when you compare it to games like Xenoblade
Well Dead Rising was a 360 game, Xenoblade always looked like shit even before the graphical downgrade and plot overhaul
youtube.com
>I think Capcom made a lot more alterations to the game than was needed
Capcom didn't make the Wii port. TOSE did.
It measured in infinitons, user.
You don't block it retard, you are in the middle of fighting the guy controlling the titan.
But wouldn't a Galaxy-sized ship collapse into a supermassive black hole under the weight of its collective mass?
Undertale
Humans are OP, pls nerf.
9,223,372,036,854,775,807
this is the correct answer
By the point this even seems like a good idea, you'd be manipulating forces that would negate such a concern.
see and It's just a result of the infinitely scaling tech levels of the game. One of the researches fields is even labeled "Mega Construction". Hell, you gain access to ringworlds relatively low into the research levels.
It's fucking magic
Probably Diablo 3 with broken builds
Looks amazingly fun. How's the sequel ? Did they fuck it up like it so often happens ?
It is just as stupidly fun as it sounds. The ship creation and tech, that is, gameplay is not so great, and I've never got far enough to see crazy shit like I didn't even check the new game much, didn't even knew it launched, but it seems very different.
Desu I want so much a game with such ship construction, but some sort of space shootan or RPG instead. All the 4x empire management takes my time off from building ridiculous ships.
