Thats so out of character for both of those. Their relationship cannot be calm, it never has. Yen is manipulative opportunist, no fucking way she will just leave everything behind for Geralt. And Geralt just never feeling the thrill of a hunt is about just as unrealistic. And while its perfectly okay for them to spend way more time together, them just being together 24/7 doesnt make sense.

Not really. It always felt to me that Geralt and Yen did want a quieter life. And after all of the bullshit they had to put up with it's hard to blame either of them. In addition, no relationship is completely rock solid all of the time. They have their issues and the work through them.

I should state that I don't actually hate Triss, I find both her and Yen very interesting and complex characters, and neither are necessarily good people all of the time. And in many ways, I prefer Triss to Yen. But when it comes down to it I think that Yen is better for Geralt most of the time.

Lets not pretend anyone should read the Ciri saga.

The endings paints it that they dropped everything, retired and spend all their time together enjoying each other company. Which is something that never worked before. Nor has it ever been implied that either of them would want to drop everything in their lifes. Yen in particular, but Geralt too enjoys his life.

It's a game, the story isnt same as it would be in a novel. Geralt doesnt "find ciri" all the time because its a game.
Yen is the canon choice though, Triss romance felt out of place.
