>Play through episode 1 >Wow this game is awesome! >Decide to re-play the first episode and see what the other choices and dialogue options do >Literally nothing >Not even worth a second play through just for a few different lines of dialogue
I've now lost all the enthusiasm I had for this game because I know it's going to be just as linear, with pathetically inconsequential choices, as the others.
Why the fuck hasn't Telltale found a way to make your decisions matter yet?
Connor Ramirez
So you've played other Telltale games and expected choices that matter in this one?
Cooper Powell
This The only time choices matter is one that they give you, at very end of the series, and even then, it's maybe 1 minute worth of dialogue/cutscenes. David Cage games, while shit for their own reasons, give you more choice than Telltale games.
Parker Moore
What honestly happened to TellTale Games? Note: I've only played the Poker Nights, Puzzle Agent, and Sam and Max (currently on Moai Better Blues).
Aaron Williams
game still looks like shit, had to downscale from 3k to get rid of the jaggies
Jayden Martinez
We all know it's just gonna be one choice that matters and it's going to be at the last episode >Kill villain >Don't kill villain If it is anything else I will be seriously surprised.
Nolan Cooper
>So you've played other Telltale games and expected choices that matter in this one?
Not really but I was hoping they would include enough for some re-playability. Mfw Telltale is too lazy even for that.
Wyatt Scott
>Harvey tells me to say Hi >Pick "Enjoy drinking my wine, it's expensive" >ENJOY MY WINE IT'S WORTH MORE THAN ALL OF YOU
FUCK
Henry Adams
Nobody would be mad at you if you skip that Easter Island one. It plummets so quickly, I'd say it's the worst in the series.
The vampire one afterwards conversely is fantastic
Jeremiah Cox
We had another [glass him] moment?
Juan Smith
Does batman fuck pigs?
Carson Morris
>expecting anything different from Telltale
They are interactive movies. I think they are worth $10 and one play through, that's it.
Jack Hall
How is the first episode anyway, how the hell are you supposed to make choices as batman, hes a pretty established character. It's like when telltale wanted to do a scott pilgrim game but they actually had the brain cells to know that would go bad.
Adam Hill
No. That pig is literally Wonderwoman.
Dominic Long
this has been their biggest selling game and they still spin Doctor that a lot o choices matter
So a lot of fresh blood will meet this awful companies shitty games
Adam Reyes
As long as those pigs happen to be a cursed WW, yes.
Robert Cook
You make the choices as Bruce Wayne. Batman segments are just qte's and some detective work.
Gabriel Sanders
It has several
>Selina asks why you fight crime >Pick "For myself" >BECAUSE I CAN
Well fuck you too Telltale
Aiden Russell
That's not the same at all. [Glass Him] is perfectly straightforward if you're not a socially awkward retard who's never been out drinking at a bar before. No one ever says "Glass him" to mean "Buy him a drink". Ever. It means to smash someone in the face with a glass.
However, "Enjoy drinking my wine, it's expensive" shouldn't come out your character's mouth as "Enjoy my wine it's worth more than all of you". That's some BioWare-tier shit, like how selecting [sigh] in Mass Effect 1 would cause Shepard to draw his pistol and shoot someone in the kneecap.
Isaiah Cook
Moai and Raving Dead are just building up the whole demon theme of the season, right? I have heard Moai kind of sucks. By the way, how was the Strong Bad game? And seriously, what happened to TellTale?
Chase Morgan
The final outcome of the game is not heavily influenced by the choices made, no different endings but indeed we have slight variations unlike other games, I'm okay at least with that small bone but don't misinterpret me, because the impact of the choices made is so tiny you have no particular reason to replay it
The biggest choice in episode 1 is handing the data
Julian Garcia
not much variance, but I still enjoyed the first episode
Levi Lee
are you a huge Batfan? you'll enjoy it otherwise it's about as mediocre as you can get. This doesn't feel like TTGs A team is working on it, hell it doesn't even feel like their B team. And for fuck sakes they need to mix up there VAs
Jace Hernandez
Which is fucking retarded. It is computer data.
Control C Control V
Bam cops and newspapers love you.
Also why the hell does Bruce Wayne think getting the police involved will help? It is mentioned multiple times that Gordan is the only honest cop but the game expects me to believe all the crocked cops suddenly turned friendly?
Nolan Nelson
Regarding the PC version: 1. They have always been shit at tech support 2. They blatantly give 0 fucks, releasing a bone in the form of a patch or two and calling it quits (Bought the wolf among us for 360 and the goddamn disc always froze at the same place, update and all and tried several recommended fixes, never got a response from their shit tech support department, sold the goddamn thing and pirated it on PC) 3. When you have an issue you meet fucking retards who go "WORKS FINE FOR ME :^)" and your issue gets shoved into oblivion
Juan Cruz
TTGs is pussies to anything that can be seen as controversial When that black kid got shot back in the summer of 14 that caused all this "Black lives matter" TTG quickly edited out an option that was presented in the last episode which was shooting a black guy that's trying to steal your supplies with others and run away in the night.
I could easily see they'd fear putting cops in a poor light due to all the controversy of blacks killing cops/cops killing blacks of this year.
Parker Flores
Damn. Thanks, I guess. I knew asking three questions in one post was a bad idea. Should I play SBCG4AP or not?
Noah Hughes
This. I never, ever fucking understood how people confused 'glass him' with buying somebody a drink.
I don't even go out drinking that much and fucking know what that means. You don't HAVE to.
Juan Bell
Honestly I think the people that did get confused had autism you have to a serious lack of understanding of improvise terms to not be able to put together "glass him" is code for "hit him...with a glass"
