I liked Motorstorm
Now Rocket League
>Motorstorm
This.
Flatout 1 and 2 are my go-to racing games, but right now I'm enjoying Dirt Rally and Assetto Corsa.
I really enjoy Blur
Hot Wheels Turbo Racing and Star Wars Episode I Racer on N64 were awesome
I bought trackmania turbo on the ps4 sale this week and I'm digging it. Racing down those insane curvy tracks while listening to Kavinsky or Gorillaz is maximum comfy.
Holy fuck forgot thread topic, anybody that doesn't say Hot Pursuit 2 is doing it wrong!
Still the gold standard 12 years on.
12 YEARS?
Name of gaem?
...
...
I like Grid and Wipeout but Outrun is still my favorite.
Super Hang On
Thank you love.
Just wait 'till you hear the music

Anybody remember the name of that gamecube game that released with the console about water bikes?
Wave Race?
Diddy Kong Racing
Snowboard Kids 2
OutRun my penis
Interstate 76 overall
NFS Shift 2 oddly enough
I'm really looking forward to Forza Horizon 3 despite never playing a Forza before. Driving around in Aussie land looks fun and comfy.
It's that one! Bless you user
midnight club la
easy, fast and relaxing
not many people liked it though
The only one who gives me what I need~
Drifting feels perfect, great design elements everywhere , fantastic music. I can't believe I passed this game up over GT when I was younger.
Wipeout 3 was my shit on PS1.
You might be interested in this, too.

Looks pretty fun! But it's too recent I doubt my computer can handle it.
Road Rash 3 forever and ever
Ridge Racer 4 felt incredibly chic and stylish for a racing game. I wish some other racing game tried to ape it's design in this day and age.
Drifting in Ridge Racer, Revolution, and Rage Racer still kick my ass but Type 4 feels like easy mode. I'm not sure how I feel about it.
Not him but don't worry, before this the devs were making phone games. You might not get "ultra" but I'm pretty sure this game runs on anything.
Burn Out Revenge
Outrun (OG)
Does Chase H.Q. count as a racing game?
Gran Turismo 2 (Moon Over the Castle>My Favourite Game)
Unironically love Road Fighter
Anything except Intel HD Graphics I'm sure.
...
>Do you remember, Snake? The feel of drifting? The clash of Tire and Asphalt?
not him but:
>Windows 7, 8, or 10 (64-bit)
>1 Ghz or faster processor
>512 MB RAM
>512MB VRAM
>DirectX VersiĆ³n 10
>400 MB space available
anything can handle it.
i read that in foxs voice
it was strange
Oh fuck, I might actually give it a try then, thank you for this user.
you can't beat canyon for pure fast
Gran Turismo 1.
Someone here must understand my feels, it's so much better than 2 and onwards.
>that music
>that hub with its own music
>the atmosphere
>the actual sense of grip
>that 67 vette
Almost any Burnout game but especially 3
Forza Horizon 2 (3 looks way better tho)
I played the shit out of NFS Most Wanted (the original not the remake) back in high school
gta5, simply because it is the only game with driving in it to provide any form of control over just driving, and i'm talking about air control and such which was already in san andreas
>tfw having to do the drivers license challenges 10000 times because I was 12
>tfw I can do them mostly in one or 2 tries now.
The breaking ones, m8, how much I hated them.
I personally loved GT2 the most, more cars, more classes, everything was amped, not to mention that sweet opening.
Only drawback was the Escudo, people grinded to it and then just won races by holding x and nothing more.
I like them, they are comfy.
What are some good racing games on the 3DS?
F1 2011
Mario Kart is the only correct answer.
My all time favorite, Wave Race 64:
That water physics
That circuit design
That acrobatic jumps.
Good answers too
This.
Burnout 3
FlatOut 2
ATV Offroad Fury 2
Driver SF was awesome
BeamNG is cool too
And pic related

Rush 2049 as a kid. Wipeout Pulse as a teen.
Never cared much for racing games other than those two.
...
but what racing game has the most aesthetic tracks/surroundings? I'm talking sunsets/dawns, orange skies, night times and shit like that. I want to play some music and drive around in a comfy manner.
Road Trip was great, too bad the other games aren't quite the same
Gr8 game, gr8 music
Holy shit I had this on my original Game Boy.
GT6 has some pretty day night cycles
Those Choro Q games are the best! The ones on gba are pretty good also.
I liked Driveclub alot.
Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit and NFS IV: High Stakes.
The PC versions have modern resolutions and better physics as well as no 30fps cap, but the PS1 versions are more A E S T H E T I C and cozy feeling due to the lighting changes in the port to PC.
>Intel HD Graphics
Dev says Direct X 10.
Anything labelled "Intel HD Graphics" has supported Direct X 10.1, if not higher.
You'd have to go back to "Intel GMA" or "Intel Extreme Graphics" to find integrated GPU's which don't support DX10.
Which is better of the two and how are the campaign modes?
I only ever really played NSF5 on the ps1 and it was god tier too.
MIDNIGHT
CLUB
2
I'm gonna be opinionated and say NFS4, if you only play one. 3 doesn't actually have a campaign mode, but 4 was the first NFS to have one, along with a working damage model, pink slip races, 3d interiors- think of it as a prototype NFS5.
That's for the PC version, anyway, which is the one probably worth playing. The PC port also includes all the racetracks from NFS3, but unfortunately doesn't include the music (which is incredible).
If you don't want to try to get them working on a modern OS, emulating the PS1 versions is still okay if you just want to cruise.
>Nintendo wasted these devs on 3DS ports and a support studio for Retro games because Retro were missing deadlines
>Only ever made that excitebike e-shop game after excitebots
>Were never given a chance at F-Zero, Wave Race or 1080 Snowboarding
>Eventually told Nintendo they were done in 2015, left and are making the new NASCAR game
Fuck this gay earth and fuck Nintendo for wasting talent like that.
I'm thinking of playing ps1 isos over the ps2 using POPStarter, on a tube tv. Seems comfier than PC versions.
Well, PC does have 3d interiors (or interior views in general, not sure if PS1 has those at all). Up to you.
Wait, did Mach Rider have a sequel??
Project Gotham 4 was the perfect balance between comfy, speed and dorifto
>TFW PGR 5 never ever because Forza Horizon is doing all the race types PGR, Midtown Madness and Rallisport challenge did
I will never be able to read dorifto without laughing
Almost got me
So...no?
KANSEII DORIFUTOOOOO
DEJAVU
new tokyo xtreme racer when?
>not INERTIA DURIFTO
MK64 would be a 10/10 with saved replays
top gear for snes.
pole position for atari.
this one arcade game where you had a cannon top of your car. There were green and red balls on the track. Anyone remember? The game was in teh back next to that 3d ghost shooter. By the emergency exit.
Rush 2049, I just want a game like Rush and Driver where I can basically fly the cars again.
Hang on
, I'll find a good racing game around here somewhere...
Road rash jailbreak, that outrun game on psp, RIDGE RACER 7 i looove that game

Great game OP
>finally save up for Humvee in pic related
>it's 100% total shit compared to everything
I'm still fucking salty.
>browsing old car reviews

Is that Rom Di Prisco in the background while Clarkson is talking about its speed?
No game will ever come close. It's just too perfect.
Q: What's the best modern PC equivalent of Gran Turismo?
Remember. Never get out of the car.
Too bad we never saw an Interstate 99.
Road Rash probably.
There really isn't one. PC has arcade games and simulators, while consoles have the Big Two simcades (GT and Forza).
does snowboard racing count? missing fucking ssx tricky so much
My nigga
My giga nigga
My tera nigga
I forgot to add to my list Midnight Club: LA. I read people consider it mediocre, but I never had that much fun on an open world racing game.
Forza 7 is coming to PC though. So it's a matter of time before PC finally gets one of those games.
whiplash, progenitor of trackmania
is that godzilla made out of insect parts?
No, it's obviously Mothra.
Trackmania United Forever
