Oblivion sold 3.5 million in 5 and a half years.

yes and no. since morrowind they tried to remove what they feel at the time could be "streamlined" to better the gameplay experience. each one of their titles took it a bit farther and in fallout 4 it went too far, todd howard saying fallout 4's dialogue wasnt successful if proof of that, because it's their best selling game at 50m copies, more than double skyrim's sales which was way more successful than oblivion. i have no idea how legit are the oblivion VS morrowind sales numbers. IMO i would like them to go back to making games with as much freedom as morrowind.
