>Mar.Loads of Wii U ports due to no 3rd parties until Aug
They're not ready by launch.
Wow, that looks like my WiiU library
>“It’s a nice bit of kit, a bit of a novelty, but a good one,” said one exec that has got hands on with the machine. “It won’t appeal to PS4 fans. Nintendo seems set on trying to upgrade smartphone gamers. That’s going to be a big job for the marketing department.”
Nintendo has around 47 Wii U games, that (with some of the lesser game being released as multi packs or bundled with bigger games) along side Zelda:BOTW at launch will do quite nicely.
First 2 games for 2017 are 3DS games.
>buying another nintendo """"""console''''''' after Wii U
>Animal Crossing NX
If done right, this will sell like hotcakes
It's a handheld.
It will not be anything like Amiibo Festival.
Where did you get those dates, OP?
With a TV dock.
>May.New Super Mario Bros 3
>June.Mario Kart 9
>Sep.Pikmin 4
>Oct.Mario & Luigi RPG 6
STOP THIS SHIT AND JUST USE SUBTITLES AGAIN, FUCK
Mario & Luigi will probably have some subtitle as always, but fuck off with a "New" Super Mario Bros. Also someone post that image with "This is the 7th entry in the series, so we're calling it Mario Kart 7"
Mario makes sense, question is if it's a proper 3D Mario or some 2D one/a spin-off.
Pokemon has got to be a little of Sun/Moon. Game freak are fucking incompetent devs so I'm not expecting a brand new game to be out so soon on new hardware. It took them 2+ years to finally make a 3DS Pokemon and it was still shit and horribly optimized.
Overall sounds good, seems like the NX will have a decent launch/launch window lineup. Just hope there's more on the actual launch day besides just Zelda.
Subtitles for Mario & Luigi 6 will come at a later date.
Pikmin never used them.
>mario kart 9
Nice bait, that's not happening in 2017
New Super Luigi NX when
May will be New Super Mario Bros 3. It's November that will bring in the big guns from EPD Tokyo 2.
Pokemon will be a port of Sun & Moon from Game Freak themselves.
Mario Kart 8 came out in 2014 and it's DLC was done by BandaiNamco.
It's time for Mario Kart 9
>Loads of Wii U ports
IT'S OKAY WHEN NINTENDO DOES IT
List in the op in speculation. The article only says Mario and Pokemon are in the first six months
The Wii U did not sell well, it's why the games are getting a 2nd chance.
>Zelda:BOTW is a launch game.
>Pikmin 4 is done by this point
>Aborted Wii U games do exist.
>Almost everything is Mario with the Sun & Moon ports.
Good day sir or mam.
>Ports of Sun and Moon
That's real neat
That list is not speculation, it'd from the same guy who leaked the 2016 Nintendo North American line up.
They know of the 3DS' fame rate issues with those games.
Cool. I hope the port is higher res, too.
>Jan.Picross 3D Round 2
Don't you fucking toy with me, man.
It is.
>540P on the handheld.
>1080P on the SCD unit.
I'm not.
You better not be. I've been sitting here patiently for a fucking YEAR waiting for that to come over to America.
Again I'm not as this leek came from the same guy who leaked out the 2016 North American line up.
Monster Hunter is the only game I need.
Here's hoping.
And here's a little anger that they waited so long, but better late than never...
Thats 3rd Party.
Is this the full details of that rumor that have been coming out recently?
No reason to believe it, but some of that looks pretty good. However-
>No Spla2n
>NSMB3
Not sitting great with me.
Well 2016's line up is done in and out.
We're getting a port of Splatoon at launch hence why they got rid of the Squid Sisters' voting.
Well that's super cool for everyone who didn't get a Wii U, but a port of Splatoon is worthless to me, unless it had new features to justify it to people who already had a Wii U, in which case, why not just make Spla2n?
Honestly, the idea of the NX mainly only getting Wii U ports for the first few month makes the idea of the system shitty because I have everything I ever wanted for the Wii U. It's a solid business decision but it leaves slim pickings for people who actually owned a Wii U.
Game is multiplayer focus, a sequel will be useless for a game like that.
However, it can work if the next game is 1 player only like it's adventure mode (spin off in other words).
The Wii U ports are for the first month itself (March).

>Game is multiplayer focus, a sequel will be useless for a game like that.
The multiplayer focus is exactly why they should go with a sequel instead of a straight port.
Most people would understand that, as a multiplayer focused game, story isn't really important, so they can just jump in with the second game and be fine. And a sequel, even if it's largely the same as the first game, still entices old players to come up to the new thing.
If the NX port of Splatoon is top to bottom the same as the Wii U version, why would I ever buy it?
Nintendo want to avoid things like COD with their IPs.
Also cheap software at launch.
I understand and would totally advocate for that for pretty much everything else in the Wii U's library (except Mario Kart 8, since 9 would probably be a hard sell if 8 was cheaper and had more content at launch), but because it's supposed to be a game that has the potential to be played forever, it doesn't make any sense to port a game that just had the last bit of support dropped.
Also, a sequel on a new console to one of the best selling Wii U games after nearly two years is not the CoDification of Splatoon.
>no Spla2n
You fucking idiots you gotta strike while the iron's hot
