I "played" (read) a Yuri VN for 16 hours straight.
Not really. I was a tired I guess since it was 6am when I finished.

Probably a 30+ hour World of Warcraft session

I think i played metroid prime for like 14 hours straight when I was a kid, ended up having a dream where I was jumping onto platforms and opening those colored doors. The entire dream I had a feeling of intense vertigo, like the world was sideways and gravity was acting in some strange direction.

I probably played ragnarok for 16 hours straight multiple times, the only thing I got from that was a Marc card and many happy memories.

Like 6-7 hours straight for Civilization games or random VNs.

Over 24 hours while grinding GM in WoW. I gained a ton of weight during that time I still haven't lost.

i believe a 25 hour Maplestory session when i was around 13

17 hours, no I just went to sleep after, I normally stick to 10 or 12 hour days but that day I felt like playing longer and lost track of time

Played Super Mario RPG with a buddy in a single session from 5pm to 9am.
One of my greatest gaming experiences ever.

Pathologic, for something on the order of 24 hours or so, while I was running a very high fever.
It was amazing, but by the end of it I wasn't too sure what was real or not and moving around in my body felt weird. 10/10 would recommend.
Also, for weeks afterwards I'd dream of it

I beat layton 1 in one sitting, took me 25h

Probably the greatest super Nintendo game.

26ish hour wow session. I went to bed. The end.

I stayed at my friends for the entire March break when I was younger and we had a 36 hour Gears of War 2 marathon

Never counted the time, but me and my friend used to play RuneScape all day long, every single day back in 2005-2007.

I played MH Tri for 36 hours trying to get an earth gem from Jhen Mohran. I still never got it.

Profit of video-games while you can. For some reasons i can't stand in front of a computer screen anymore, it makes me dizzy and i don't understand why. After ten minutes it's like my eyes don't manage to "track".

Did you already experienced the strange feeling when you're in a train, and another train next to you starts moving and you don't know which one is moving and you start getting dizzy ? Same shit.

Brutal.

Maybe 16 hours

I find though that continuously long periods over a long period of time itself makes more issues than a single long stretch though.

There has been no game in the past 16 years that made me sit in front of my console or pc for more than 5 - 6 hours.

gaming is dead

Do you mean a single game or just playing games?
I spent days and nights playing Garry's Mod Stranded when I was in high school, just start around noon and keep until 5-6am, same with TF2 and its custom games. I think the longest I've stayed up playing any games would be some LANs from a year or so ago playing smash bros and mobas from noon til noon

12 straight hours of Melee on Vyvanse with friends. I don't even like Melee but I couldn't stop playing.

My hands were cramped, painful claws for a day or two after. Just took a break from vidya.

that's weird as fuck man, you saw a specialist for that ?

played maple story for 24+ hours and I ended up falling asleep while grinding while still in a voip call with the gang.

25-30 hours of Harvest Moon 64.

I was tired, but that's about it. I enjoyed it.

at launch I regularly play mmorpgs for over 30 hours straight

7 Day Survivor on Dead Rising.

>Probably going to do it again when the PC version comes out.

Yeah i did.

They don't know what the fuck is going on.

Played world of warcraft for almost 3 days straight when Warth of the Lich King first launched. I was fresh out of high school and hand nothing to do till college.

I played through almost half of the 24 hours of Le Mans in GRID. I started just for fun, and I was still "driving" 10 hours later.

After being dumped I gamed for over 24 hours and didnt eat anything and drink very little. Mixed bag of TF2 and emulating gamecube games. Had a terrible headache and stomach ache. I cringe now thinking about it because it was only a 2 year relationship.

Played Far Cry 3's campaign from start to near completion [I've done all map content and collected all treasures except for the letters] in a single sitting, interrupted only for things like meals.

The extent to which I hate that game and everything relation to southeast asian tribal culture now is hard to put into words

I played mario sunshine start to finish without pausing as a teen, not sure how long that took, it may have taken a whole day which is way more than how much I play nowadays.

I didn't have a memory card and was afraid that if I had a game over I'd lose my progress.

Good times.

Turning the console off felt awful.

Maybe Terraria, many times I haven't sleeped playing it, especially during huge content updates.

That shit is too addictive to your own good.

16 hours.
Was playing Final Fantasy XIII-2 and I really liked it. Played from start to ending credits

36+ hours

Ragnarok online

I miss you

Of a single game? Not sure.

I did stay awake for 50+ hours at a LAN with friends when I was in highschool.

In the final hours we were all basically delirious, had trouble moving around, a couple of us threw up a bunch. When I eventually did go to bed I had trouble getting to sleep.

This pretty much. It's a game you can finish in one or two sessions over a weekend. Better gameplay and story than XIII, worse gameplay than LR though.

Does anyone remember the video of the Scottish guy who played CoD WaW for like 17 hours who started drinking milk angrily and punching walls?

24 Hours of Maplestory.

You get a free pass because Vegnagun is cool. But I'm watching you, mister.

The only grind fest I enjoyed

I enjoyed it a lot, but fuck I don't wanna grind for cards and equipment anymore ever.

I'd only play again if I botted or so, screw killing thousands of thara frogs and such.

something like 20 hours in planetside i think was the longest

CS:S for 36 hours.

Fell asleep in the bath afterwards and woke up nearly drowing when I slipped into the water

My ex-gf once asked me to phone her at 7am just in case she slept through her alarm. I then proceeded to play realistic battles on WarThunder until about 5:30 am.

When my alarm finally went off to let me know to ring her in my still half-asleep state I managed to yell down the phone "LEFT AILERON GONE, CANNON DRY" before hanging up.

10/10 would do again.

>yfw you realize that they've removed it because it's too hard for the casuals

>tfw summer in Australia came around my friends and I would all get together and play RO in the airconditioned living room of one of our houses until the wee hours of the night then when the day came we'd spend all day at the beach

sigh...

I didn't mind the grind. Put on some music, relax, start day dreaming and go into full robot mode.

Hum, during a non-stop lanparty pn Tenerife i played during 15-16 hours (whit stops 4 go to bathroom).
I never played LoL again.

Wow, I really feel sorry for you

Btw, VNs are not games

Like 15 hours in TERA with my boyfriend once.

gay

wat VN ?

first thing that comes to mind is TF2 for like 35 hours. i went out for coffee and had dinner and stuff, but pretty much just smoked a quarter and played TF2 for the majority of the stint. i stay up for 24+ hours a lot but never usually just playing one game non-stop. one of my friends send me a message when they saw i had been on a server for 8 hours at one point.

i uninstalled tf2 now.

Played Civ 2 on a rented playstation for 48 hours.
Then slept for around 30 hours.
Woke up to my parents and family around me.

I played minecraft for 24 hours

Haven't played it for more than 10 minutes since

I'm pretty normal for Sup Forums according to this thread, probably was some sleepover where I played for 8 hours straight, I'm ok now except I masturbate to traps

... are you dead?

I never go over 15 hours because sleep and tiredness gets the best of me.

youtube.com/watch?v=hJXf0FalUxc

That's really impressive.
My heart goes out to you.

Don't worry user we've all been there.

Probably on Burning Crusade release. I just remember I went 60 to 70 in one sitting.

7 hours of Artificial Academy 2 when it came out. I had cuts on my dick and it was really sore. Also on my 17th or so fap, there's no semen anymore.
Started to become drops of semen around my 8th fap.
Would try again and beat my record if there's a new ILLUSION game that comes out.

24 hours playing Ocarina of Time, and 23 hrs playing Soul Calibur 2 weapon master mode + Soul Calibur 3 CotS

Did some MDMA with a friend once on a friday night, except it turned out it was cut with a shitload of cheap speed so we were unable to sleep until sunday night or some dumb shit like that. Played about 20 hours of assorted fighting games and 20 hours of a 2x speed emulated Pokemon HeartGold Nuzlocke before we both hallucinated ourselves to sleep.

Didn't actually feel that bad the next day, except I still only had about 6 hours of sleep. Drugs are bad kids.

I also played Sunshine for a very long stretch once, it was the fucking Delfino Plaza theme that eventually broke my endurance

youtube.com/watch?v=qB1BwD7xmM0

I loved the fucking game but I had to stop, this song was making me insane.

you can't gain more than ~3 pounds in 24 hours and even that is nearly impossible.
you are fat and you have always been fat, stop lying to yourself lardass and stop eating junk food

Okay.

Around 38 or so hours of ragnarok online in 1 sitting.

Shit needed to be done and that was the price to pay for being in the best guild on the server.

Was the same for me, except in Cataclysm, was beaten by one DK for "Realm First level 85 Death Knight" by less than a minute.

Never really did try that in WoW ever again.

But I have often spent over +48 hours on a game in one sitting, 72 hours I've done a few times (probably five or less)

Oh man.
>played Triple Triad for 8 hours straight on ecstasy without ever leaving Balamb Garden
Good times, I guess.

I've done some long gaming sessions - several days as I used fast every month when I was in uni for 3 or so days, and I'd just stay up and game.

The most memorable non-stop session was playing no more heroes in one sitting actually.

>Got so immersed in a game I did three all-nighters by accident
>Started hearing shit
>Real spooky shit
>Stumbled around the house looking for whatever was screaming
>Woke up on the floor two days later
>Went back to playing shit
I don't even remember what game it was, but I was in uni at the time so it was probably WoW

24 hour race in Gran Turismo 4

I regret nothing

When phantasy star universe came out I played it for 48 hours and only stopped for food and to use the bathroom.

36 hours straight of dynasty warriors 3 when I was on meth.

Fable 2, 14 hours

When i had no memory card, i would play gta sa for about 14 hours straight trying to reach further in the game.

But i am quite sure i had eating amd resting pauses.

I am not as crazy as some other people here.

Also, my parents were quite liberal with me, but if they noticed i have been playing for 24h+ , they would get worried and trytto stpp me

As child i played 8 straight hours of painkiller
Now i can't play 1+ hours because i feel dizzy af
I think i'm gonna die

Mortal kombat on ps3. I wanted to finish the story mode and challenge tower in one go. 48 hours

I beat Half-Life 2 and Episode 1/2 in one night.

littlebigplanet 2 for literally 5 days. no sleep, only microwave food eaten in my room and soda/tea
i was 14.
life sucks and then you die

10 hours on Maplestory I think. Mostly grinding for Nependeath's Honey for that stupid fucking side quest in Orbis.
I did take a break every now and then to do PQs in Ludi and shoot the shit with guild mates.

>littlebigplanet 2
>for literally 5 days

>Army of Two, from night to morning one coop playthrough start to game's end

>Super Mario Galaxy, 4 or so hours in the same goddamn level with a ball

>Halo 3, night to morning, just trying to do the Scarab Glitch, yep.

>Ass Creed Brotherhood
I dont really know how many hours, maybe more than 10, I only know that from a Christmas Night I had done like 60% of the game.
I recently replayed Timesplitters 3 emulated and within 2 days I had finished the story on hard and did all challenges/arcade gold/platinum

Why not just automate it with the pilot?
