Games where you can just disconnect your brain and play while listening to your own music?
I think 4500 hours on Civ3/5 are enough and I can't do it on STALKER games because it kills the mood and gave strokes

Nice
What manga? i only know about Everyday Monster Girl.
look up "Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari
How long until mods delete any thread that looks remotely like a manga page because you guys don't want to talk about video games?
MMOs
>disconnect your brain
I guess it works in sandboxes and city builders. If your music is intense you can try action games with no story and complicated gameplay.
Minecraft
Yeah, it's autistic and whatnot, but I fucking love getting some massive modpack for it then just getting to work while listening to podcasts or music. SkyFactory 2.5 is a solid choice if you want something different from the EVERYTHING EVER modpacks. It's just not very newbie friendly if you don't know your way around some of the more popular modpacks such as Applied Energetics, Big Reactors, Draconic Evolution, Sieves, Better Barrels, and Ender IO. Still, if you want something to turn your brain off and get the autism out, hop into Sky Factory and find some minecraft lets play of Sky Factory so it gives you some direction and explains how to use some of the mods. It's kind of neat when you get deep and advanced into it, then look out over your floating base and say 'wow, all this came from a single tree and a single block of dirt'
Are you this guy
thanks
Civ IV
Gal Civ 2
Stars!
Total War
Cities Skylines
Sim City 4
I like management games for that, or online FPS.
For me it's been: Rimworld, Cities Skylines, Stardew Valley, and Overwatch
There's other good ones, like Banished or some grand strategy games. I love games where you can be creative and get lost in the music while watching your little creation grow.
Wow...that was....
It was scripted, right?
Are you new to russians?
Holy shit.
That's why I don't play that shit online. Both to avoid screaming children and griefing. I like to be out on my own, tinkering away on my own little floating island or whatever.
Diablo and other ARPG loot games
i definitely give a shit about any of this.
EuroTruck simulator
Nope.
"comfy" games are good for that.
ETS2, E:D, Space Engine etc.
Musou games and Diablo-like RPGs.
I drive a truck for a living so I just can't stand driving games
Will give a try to some of the stuff posted, but I don't have a fucking PS4
I know some russian and whenever translation says "four" it's actually supposed to be "cheats", in russian "four" sounds similar (чeтыpe, chetire). How the fuck did whoever subbed it not realize that?
Okay.
Someone mentioned city builders. Anno 2070 might be another solid choice. It's only sort of a city builder, more of a supply chain satasifier and trade route manager. The classic Annos are pretty good, but 2070 just really gives you more toys to play with and the two different factions play slightly different so that helps to add some variety.
Roguelikes
Sup?
Maybe try Starsector too, if Civ counts as 'disconnecting your brain'.
Hearthstone
Rimworld is good.
Last time I kinda dropped it for a while due to modders getting into drama with the dev.
Too many patches breaking too many things or something.
I don't think that's autistic at all, user. In general Minecraft is a very fun game, and if you can enjoy it that much then excellent for you.
A lot of good ones mentioned, I'd add
Kerbal Space Program
ArmA 3 (editor)
Flight Simulators
Racing games can be good for this too
They recently released a new build, alpha 14, and released on Steam. A few hot fix patches have been released too since the new version release.
I love the game, but this is the first version I've played so I dunno how the dev history went. I recommend it as it stands. Some mods are cool and cosmetic, and a lot of the mods are coming to Steam Workshop too, so that makes things convenient.
>playing the $40 early acess version of DF
EYE gameplay
No, no, no, 2070 is just a worse 1404 with a sci-fi skin.
No one should ever play 2070 unless they've already played 1404 to death.
Starsector.
For the most part it's a fleet management/combat sandbox, but there are some 4x-esque mods out there (nexerelin).
Also Pharoah is excellent if you want something a little more in the city builder vein. It's an old game, but it's fucking great.
There's a couple different 'skins' to this exact same game that people quibble over. There's Zeus, Poseidon, and some Chinese one I can't remember the name of. Pretty much just pick a style. Roman, Greek, Chinese, or Egyptian and play that shit. I lean Egyptian because Egypt is pretty rad and I like the mega structure scenarios more then the other games.
Just don't let the fact that it's an older game get in the way of your decision. It's a great game.
As far as sci-fi skins go, I've heard good things about Stellaris.
Cool meme, bruh. Yeah, it's a DF clone that's more accessible. Congrats on being the superior DF player. Your crown awaits.
Hexcells Infinite is the best game I've found for focusing on music or podcasts. The built in seeded level generator means there are literally 100,000,000 extra levels after beating the main game.
LITERALLY american truck simulator or euro truck simulator 2
Fuck yeah Starsector.
Liar
holy fuck that looks fun to play
Is I am Setsuna good? If it is I feel bad that they just reported on a $2.4 million loss
Shadow over Mordor is a decent mindless game. Just go around hunting orcs and being unable to die because the combat is stupidly easy. It's also on sale for 10 bucks for everything. Too bad it's fucking 50gb.
Any driving game is perfect for what youre describing.
fractalsoftworks.com
It's still probably a couple years from completely finished, but it's super playable and has a huge mod community.
>highfiving a ghost
It is what it is.
Currently trying to keep my fleet's sensor profile below 4.5, so I'm spending hours in the sim trying to put together a frigate that can go toe-toe with combat destroyers, without breaking the bank.
Gotta keep sensor profile low if you want to evade patrols & sneak into hostile markets for
muh smuggling.
Here's a modlist. pastebin.com
Top taste in mod factions.
Wish Neutrino Corp was less broken.
You're right, they do look pretty good.
What's broken? The balance, or the compatibility?
Balance, mostly.
They tend to have really narrow but really efficient shield arcs, and it's a little too good in the hands of a human player and a little to shit in the hands of the AI.
Worth trying out if you haven't though, some very interesting hulls and weapons.
GRID is perfect if you're actually decent at it.
that screenshot looks comfy af but I refuse to be tricked into playing GRID 2 again
What are some games I can play while listening to audio books? so nothing that has story, dialog or verbal thinking
Don't bother, it's shit
Ha, I'd've thought the opposite.
Seems like the AI are pros at shield control.
4x/city games
Flight or space sims
board or card type games
Fuck around in B&W games.
Dynasty warriors
FTL
EU4
Any ARPG
nice legs
Euro truck simulator2
Yeah, it's weird - but try it for yourself sometime.
Probably the biggest hole in the AI for the faction is keeping at a distance where the narrow shields aren't vulnerable to flanking.
But I haven't updated in a while, maybe it's been fixed.
In all seriousness Minecraft
Those aren't even my best legs.
Are they okay?
Will do.
Nowadays it's more of a problem for for the AI to be too cautious and just sit at range plinking away.
Plus officer personalities might help with it, if they weren't around before.
...
Euro Truck Simulator 2, you can even config your favourite radio stations.
Have you never played on xbawks NA servers or something?
Fuck off. Like I would trust anyone on Sup Forums. Worst thing you could do.
Forgot my pic.
Nice pretending. Why do you think its shit?
Why do you keep posting early acess games
Why fuck are all the perfectly sfw images removed from this thread?
These are not my posts btw.
Dota2 I don't remember the last time i listened to the in game music.
