Is it acceptable to play fighting games with a keyboard?

Is it acceptable to play fighting games with a keyboard?

Whatever you want.

I think it's doable, it's similar to playing on a hitbox so you'd get less travel distance for the directional inputs. It's not something I'd do personally, I've played on stick for so long that I can't bring myself to learn to play on a very different controller like that.

No because what if you make a macro to put in inputs rather than actually do them properly.

Shangai is a shit

How can you say that?

only if ya poverty bitch ass sticks to anime fighters like soku and vanpri nawmean

Way better than a gamepad and typically on par with a fightstick, since most modern games have one or two programmable buttons used to make certain multi-button inputs easier.

I remember playing GGXXR on a keyboard, and P+D and P+K+S buttons could accomplish everything you needed, from their own functions to things like instakills and force guard.

That said, whose acceptance are you looking for? Just use what works.

But she's the best blonde.

Yes. Far more acceptable than playing a "fighter" which features lolicon girls you freak. Go play a real fighter like VF.

get a buttonbox instead

>dolls

Worst awoo

Is this the Soku netplay general? I can't wait to play some games.

...

I dont understand moon runes.

I can host soku

Together now

Yeah, since I used a hitbox layout on my keyboard before buying one. Just don't expect to be playing on pc version of games when you hit the arcades.

How do you do 360 on keyboard.

Is this the soku thread?

How do arcades even matter anymore? Serious tournaments use console versions now, and you can hook anything to them if you are creative enough. And if you are playing on a PC, you already know you get 5 year old outdated scraps.

Is this the funposting thread?

If the game is lenient like sf4, you just need to hit the cardinal directions. I usually do left, right, up, down then attack button. Bam, standing spd right there.

alice was so shit in soku it was unreal

I never said anything about them being popular or relevant user. I just said that he shouldn't be expecting pc version of games if he goes to arcades or similar stuff. I do know that adapters exist.

I used to do it in the 90's when playing Neogeo games on an emulator cuz i was poor. Is shit, but it works.
