Never again, I'll just keep stealing these sturdy dells from my workplace.
Logitech G710.
>for gaming
you're a faggot
Don't be a memer.
Cheapest dell standard office keyboard or get a micro keyboard \ KUL ES-87
The one you build yourself.
Mate, money isn't an issue.
I heard the quality of these things is kinda bad.
FYI the new dell keyboards my workplace is buying are not a good choice, the ones with flatter keys.
Pushing W and E block eachother (E wont register) amongst others, which is quite an often used shortcut in many games.
Have to keep stealing the old ones.
a keyboard for gaming would be a meme
this
>money isn't an issue.
Then don't buy meme gaymer brands but go to one of the actual mech keyboard companies.
Though I had two and I'm not buying another again.
>paying out the ass so your keyboard has 105 separate points of failure instead of being easily replacable anytime.
Whatever you prefer.
None. Mech boards are for typing, not for gaming.
>KUL
my nigga~
>finger fedora
I use a mechanical keyboard because I'm a programmer and type a lot, but honestly the regular membrane ones are just as good and possibly even better for gaming.
>Mate, money isn't an issue.
Shouldn't be a consideration when going for a good keyboard, the most standard small dell keyboard are perfect for me, all new "gaming" keyboard are just shitty and bloated with extra stuff you dont need just so they can up the price, i prefere basic keyboard styles and mech keys, therefore i go for the most simplistic format of it, cheap Dell keyboard are great and easily purchased.
Mechanical keyboards don't make you better at gaming. At most you'll have a slightly easier time hitting individual keys, but unless you're playing competitive RTS or some kind of button mahser this won't matter in the slightest
I use a Ducky One Blue/Gray, it's nice but I honestly could have just gotten another $20 one instead.
>reaction image fedora
Its luxury as fuck, it feels better typing on one but honestly its not worth the money at all.
I like my Das with Cherry MX browns. I have another with MX blues, but it is too loud and don't want to bother my 3 other roommates
I will say this, Mech keyboards are easy as fuck to clean, though I don't need to much since I cover my keyboard with the plastic shell it came with.
>glossy keyboard
I'd rather kill myself man.
I'd also rather kill myself if I were spending hundreds on glossy keyboards while having 3 fucking roomates.
Just buy whatever you like, not much of a difference than a membrane keyboard.
*also if I were playing Dota 2, so you've pretty much hit the kys trinity man, and I don't even like to use that
steelseries 6gv2 is a pretty good one, sturdy as fuck and not that pricey for a mech kb
Pic related. If you're in the US you can get it through Tiger Imports.
An excellent choice. I personally use a Dell KB522.
I already have the one I posted and there was an immense difference between that and my old membrane keyboard. It feels WAY better and it helped improve my APM since I don't have to push the buttons all the way down for them to register.
Anyway, I'm looking for a new keyboard since mine is like 6 years old now and it's starting to look a little worn out.
>Dell KB522.
Thats some high tier stuff, this is just an L30U and...sk8175
Which is odd because they are identical from the outside. They are standard as fuck tall key though, feels sturdy and heavy, with nice silent enter and space.
Buying the cheap range online got me some veeeery shitty membrane keyboards so I just stockpile these now.
2 at home and 2 at work.
Buy new keycaps you fuck, the very point of the mech keyboard is that it doesnt go to shit over time and you can have good keycaps.
why the shit in your right mind would anyone use a mech keyboard for gayming?
My now ex bought me a razer whatever the fuck its named rgb keyboard and i haven't seen a difference honestly.
Can't be bothered to change them. I have a mech keyboard for the different feel and the higher APM. I'll give my old keyboard to my brother. I'm not wasting anything.
>higher apm
Sure, not because its a mech keyboard and you want to be supa cool in your Sup Forums shots.
Isnt it dota2 time now?
Mech keyboards make a shit-ton of noise, and anyone who uses them is the cancer of any online chat, especially when they have a mic that registers each fucking key press.
Mechanical keyboards aren't worth it. I spent like 100 bucks on one and there's barely any difference at all. Huge waste of money unless you're some kind of turbo autist.
Anyone not being in push to talk is the cancer of any online chat.
I need a new keyboard and ordered this a few days ago
How much of a faggot am I? Is it a waste of money?
amazon.com
I want a keyboard that feels like the old Model M's IBM used to make, but I want the whole green look.
I have a Blackwidow, but it's slightly smaller and as a result I end up hitting keys I don't mean to a lot of the time. I'm looking for a more fullsized keyboard, with either Greens (that isn't 300 canadollars) or Browns.
Fuck this keyboard.
>liking matte finish
>not having more than 1 computer with a keyboard mouse setup
>hating the only reason WC3 was around for as long as it was
Maybe you should kill yourself
I get that you're thinking about killing yourself a lot lately.
>liking your dirty greasy keyboard
look at it you bitch I know you'll find several fingerprints
What does having more than one computer have to do with this? I have three set up on my desk every day user, though not because I want them to be here.
>WC3
I want to shit in your mouth user, the CG scene kept WC3 alive - it is alive today, Dota almost entirely succeeded in killing it though.
You are not playing DotA user, you never did, you are playing DotA2 while being 20~ year old fag.
just get a $50-90 one
you don't need all the bells and whistles and 1337 lights, macros and shit, I picked up one that was $70 on black friday and it's comfy as fuck to use, way better than my old rubber dome
just make sure you get cherry keys
>being so disgusting you don't wipe down your keyboard because of le epic matte finish
>having greasy fingers at all
>~20
I'm 27 and have been playing WC3 since late 2002. It was almost fucking impossible to play an online game one DotA came out because guess what, THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF WC3 WENT TO DOTA. Without DotA the game would have faded away to the point it is today.
>your playing DotA 2
I'm actually not playing DotA at all because I don't like the changes they made and decided to play SC2 instead, hence the loud ass keyboard issue you stupid fucking faggot.
What's the cheapest mechanical keyboard for gaming?
>poorfag here
>mechanical keyboard
>for gaming
Why for gaming? Mech keyboards make 0 difference when it comes to games.
Anyone saying otherwise is just trying to justify their 200$ rgb keyboard purchase. They are better for typing, but not for gaming.
Quickfire
Cheap
Backlight
Blue cherry with extreme strong bounce
>MFW had to give it away as my roommate complains its too loud
CHEAP
RGB
DURABLE
no need to spend $150+
The one you just posted.
It's the one I'm using right now. Great keyboard.
Wtf is that monstrosity
This with MX reds
MX reds are the only switch for gaming, sorry, hope i don't trigger non-red fags
i like my das keyboard a lot, no pointless attachments or thrills
I mean if you're not a penny pinching Neet I would recommend the ducky shine 5 with cherry Mx Browns
I have that for gaming and I use a topre keyboard for work. They both feel amazing if you don't bottom out on every press
Buying a mechanical for gaming is retarded.
Buy it because they are somewhat more comfortable to type with. That's literally the only reason to buy one.
Who Filco here?
Expensive but durable as fuck
spilled water on it a while ago and still works.
>for gaming
What, are you going to play a fighting game on it or something? Because that's the only type of game where it would help at all and even then for that price you might as well buy a stick.
I like to use whatever has background illumination, since I play in the dark.
I intend to upgrade to a Filco, but I want some PBT keycaps before I bother buying the keyboard itself and it's pretty hard to find for a UK ISO PBT keycap set
Model M
