It's more than that, though.

Its pretty alright.

10/10 game series, the only slowdown was #2.

Pokemon is kid using creatue to fight and capture other creature

AE is kid fighting against animals and capturing them.

They're also different genres.

I don't think it would be very good. No variety cause everything's an ape, and no easy way to make catching them fun.

This, instead of making it like "GO", you could just make it a simple platformer with a bit of AE in it.
