It's a fun enough game if you're into the Musou formula. It's probably good fanservice, but I'm not really a huge fan of the manga, so I can't comment on that.

It had a bunch of post-release support, so hopefully the western version comes pre-patched.

The politics went from chapter 51 to chapter 62 which is basically 30% of S2. And it's not like it was nothing but politics during that arc, there is also a decent amount of action. People tend to forget the clash of the titans arc and the reiss cave.

This, I played for about 30 hours and nearly platinumed it. all I need to do is complete 5 or 6 requests. It gets répétitive after 3 or 4 hours.

It's been out for months on the JP PSN store, you don't need to understand Japanese to play it outside of weapon upgrades (which you could figure out yourself anyway just playing the game)

Everyone else is right in calling it repetitive though, it's very clearly an Omega Force game. That said I've played it 100+ hours and enjoyed almost all of it, so I'd call it worth full price, but if you aren't into repetitive musou type content then wait for a sale.

My biggest gripe is the original OST though, while good and mostly fitting, I would have liked the shows soundtrack for the game.

Everything related to SnK had the anime soundtrack shoved up the ass. Yes it's great but it's time to let it go, I'm tired of hearing it everytime I encouter something related to SnK. And the game OST is good too.

Maybe you're right and I'm a huge fanboy shitter, but with the game following the first season for the most part there were definitely scenes and missions I would have liked to have the soundtrack from the show for. Which is why I muted the game music and played the tracks myself while playing :^)
