I'm going to start playing BBS.
Any tips?

Don't play it if you're coming off from the kh2fm high. You will be disappointed with the gameplay. Osaka team fucking sucks.
Too late. I just finished KH2FM and the screen looks weird on BBS.
Someone said that I have to choose one of the three characters for the rest of the game? Who should I play first?
Have fun. Also you may need to look up some of the combination if skills/ shards to get the passives you want.
You can pick anyone but I think the story order is terra ven then aqua.
If you want to play it just to get the story ,just remember it won't be the same. The secret bosses suck and you have to abuse dodge and one attack to do any damage.
Aqua is interesting. Does it matter if I play her last?
don't. It's shit
Nah play her 1st. Don't matter what order you play them in but playing as the others show you how the others got there when they meet up.
Play in any order. People have recommended paths, and I followed those. In the end I realized it doesn't fucking matter.
Just enjoy learning how each characters functions in battle. I'll give you a heads up and let you know Ven does shit damage so when you're wondering why it's taking five minutes to kill an enemy with Ven when it took 5 seconds with Terra, you know you need to adopt a new style of fighting.
Don't it has the worst game play in the series
Honestly just started playing birth by sleep too and finished terra's story a while ago. Change your commands when it reaches max level to fuse commands for abilities. I didn't get abilities until late game for terra and I feel retarded for not doing so.
Think I'll start with Ven, I'll play Aqua after and Terra last.
Hope I don't regret my choice.
Damn this combat system is confusing. And I thought CoM had the worst combat system.
I'd vote Terra first (then Ven and Aqua) because it might be hard to stand his slowness after playing the other two
Keyblade sucks. Dodge has invincibility frames. Read an FAQ on getting commands and abilities if you need to because you'd just be experimenting randomly on your own otherwise. With enough Attack/Magic Hastes, command cooldowns are almost nothing
It's recommended that you play Aqua last since her story has the actual ending to the game
Tell me Aqua's voice gets better.
Don't play Aqua anything but last, she spoils the other two stories.
Ventus -> Terra -> Aqua is the best order but the first two can be switched.
It doesn't
Aqua and Terra either get a little better or they grow on you. At least Ven and the villians are perfect
Is it me or is leveling up in this game seems very slow?
>Right after you get access to the overworld, play the command board until you get cure. Consider also getting magnet.
>Look up a command melding guide and immediately start pursuing the abilities Leaf Bracer, Second Chance, and Once More.
>In the early game, D-Links are much more powerful than you. Use them, but make sure you've got some Link gauge left over for bosses.
>For grinding, you want to unlock the Risky Riches arena mission in the mirage arena. It will get you the munny you need to buy commands to meld.
>Make sure your square button is in good working order, and absolutely SPAM your avoidance move (slide for Terra, roll for Ven, cartwheel for Aqua).
>Do NOT fight the Mysterious Figure secret boss as Terra until you've done literally everything else, and there's nothing fragile around you.
>How to ruin the game completely for yourself the post
Autistic minmaxers who can't even play a kids game without being handheld by guides go and stay go
Each of the three stories spoil parts of the others, but going Terra -> Ven -> Aqua spoils the least information as you go.
Plus, going in that order is easier than trying to jump in with Aqua's story right out the gate. It's best to play Aqua's story once you've finally gotten used to how BBS works.
Listen, play Terra first so you can just get his bullshit out of the way. He is the most idiotic character in KH, none of his choices make sense and boil down to "guess I'll help this shady villainous looking person I'm sure it'll be fine"
Not like the rest of it is much better but Ven is just happy go lucky and Aqua actively cleans up the messes the other two leave behind, so ending with her is a high note.
No, Ven -> Terra -> Aqua is the one that doesn't spoil the others.
Terra's story spoils most of Ven's. Ven is the one who doesn't know anything about the world, so you're supposed to learn about it alongside him.
