Still gets discussed because a couple naive people think the unfinished content is super secret hidden messages and lessons.

Its an game that I enjoyed. gameplay was ok, setting felt unique and the storyline had its moments. I think people blow its depth out of the water though

It's fantastic bait. Guaranteed replies.

repetitive and not a lot of fun, boring, by-the-numbers mind fuck ending, stupidly berates you for moral choices which you don't make.

TLDR; overrated newfag bait

a good mystery can do a lot for a game

Its whatever. I admire what they tried to do, but seeing Apocalypse Now showed me a better retelling of Heart of Darkness.

Gets praised for the wrong things

The gameplay is ok

As a commentary on modern SHOOTAN? Mediocre and undermines itself by not giving you any choice.

As a TPS? Alright. People give it shit for being generic.

OP here. I honestly expected more. People said it was the second coming of Jesus.

#ugh #dissappoined #neveragain

Very good implementation of non-disruptive choice-making mechanics.

The story was nice, I mean for a modern war game.
The art style and musics were nice too.

The gameplay is too repetitive, and the shooting wasn't that fun to be honest.

7/10

Perhaps people find this game thought-provoking, but it's not a masterpiece either.

It's shit fuck you Sabaca!

Its the EVA of videogames

>choice making
>spec-ops the line

3/10 b8

if you were serious, you should probably do at least a google search on what the word choice means

Greater than the sum of its parts, despite being a mediocre cover shooter. Kind of like Republic Commando now that I think about it

5/10 game praised as if it 12/10 by a retarded fanbase
I hate it with a passion
>muh war is bad xDD
>Gameplay sucks? nah they wanted it that way xDD
>Sure you can make choices you can always quit xDDD

I hate it

Very good for one playthrough. Tells an interesting story, is immersive enough, breaks from the mold. It also has very lackluster gameplay and no replay value.

Fuck the autists who say it's some kind of genre-defining masterpiece, it's just a vidya that's a bit smarter than average. And fuck the retards who say it's literally Call of Duty or who dismiss it because they got their feelings hurt when a loading screen called them a bad person, they've been on Sup Forums too long and lost the ability to enjoy anything.

8/10 despite all that, would recommend anyone get it when it's $20 or under

Explosions look like shit

I won't even agree with you that it's smarter than the average of it genre, or whatever

to me it seems like the writer was a fucking retard who didn't know what he was doing, and once the fanbase thought that they figured out what the story was, he and the team went along with it in order to not seem like the idiots they really were

Overrated as fuck.

An interesting story that is seriously hurt by how it's constantly hammering you over the head with its "lessons", crammed in a decidedly below-average shooter.

The only good thing about it was how it showed the (d)evolution of the main character though gradual changes in his model and audio cues. That part was really well-done.

Solid game. 4/5. The gameplay is the weakest part, but it's not bad--just unremarkable and unfortunately might have been the point.

I think is good. The gameplay is kind of dull and the plot believes itself to be more deep than it actually is.
It's still pretty enjoyable for the most part, the game looks good, sounds good and the gameplay while not groundbreaking gets the job done.
Sadly the game has been overhyped a lot and I think it suffers from that but if you can get it cheap I'd say it's worth it.
Also, fuck that mission with the grenade launcher.

>some random faggot on internet told me that this game was super immersive and shit, worth playing
>played the demo, it was absolute garbage, a cheapass gears of war
>bought it anyway two month later for some reason
>man, this game is shit
>but the OST is somehow really cool
>DUDE WAR IS HORRIBLE LMAO
>Yo, shit's getting darker and shit
>the ending
>didntexpectthat.png
They pulled something you saw in MGS2, and that was interesting. They also had a nice attention to detail and godlike sound stuff (apart from enemies repeat themselves and some guns doesn't sound that gound). Art style was somewhat unique and it was nice to look at, even if UE3 wasn't at its best.
The biggest flaw was the shotting part, which was trying to be fun, but couldn't because of how wonky it was.
It was really nice to get through, it wasn't flawless nor was it the deepest shit ever.
It was just good, and it was quite a unique experience despite being a bad shooter.

tl;dr, a solid 8/10. Not flawless, not perfect, but still pretty good for what it is.
