what is that horse doing

not for a while

what is that horse doing

Bdo was a 5 items a week/10 game anyways so ye fuk that

wat

Being a horse, what the fuck do you think?

what the fuck is that horse doing

I think I saw that horse in Gladiator

No , but what is that horse doing exactly?

Guild Wars 2, but the grind is fucking ridiculous.
There's always WoW but....why?

Is an horse an gamer?

Of course he is, why would he ask otherwise?

Mabinogi. Server Merges fucking WHEN

Legion is about to come out, but its wow....

Everyone seems to go nuts over that FF mmo but its weeboo shit....

Rift seems to have some dedicated players but not many and not if you are oceanic....

I'm on sided here but GW2 was so boring I got it did some pvp got a set of gear then refunded it....

Cant think of anything else

What's wrong with Black Desert?

combat is boring and the grind is endless

That horse is being a silly little goose, ain't he?

Most likely.

>all MMO's are shit
Maybe you just don't like MMO's anymore?

Why is it dead now? Did something happen? I thought it was pretty stable.

Pay 2 win happened

Devs are implementing P2W aspects despite a B2P model in the NA/EU servers and promising never to do P2W.

They're allowing cash shop purchases to be sold on the ingame market effectively allowing a RL > ingame conversion of currency.

As a result, around 80% of the games population is or already has, quit.

ayy

>Black Desert is dead now.
It was right from the start to be honest.
I get that you were excited and all, it was the same for me when I played it on KR but after a few weeks it was just so awful with the gimped PvP, no player trade and lack of mmo feeling in general.

Also the prices for costumes alone told me to watch out for the inevitable jew moves.

wow or FF XIV, you choose

Why would they do that

>Playing "MMOs" in the last 2 decades

Because their investors are leaking money is all we can assume.

Why would a horse wear pants?

I like p2w, I think it's honest. And my mom loves me.

Been looking for anons to start a new MMO with but I don't know what MMO. I just want to party and fight big monsters like Dragon Dogma Online

Lord of the Rings Online. Super comfy and friendly community. Just beware that since the game is F2P some content is behind paywalled "quest packs" but you can just do the usual monthly subscription and get around that.

It will come to the west right? RIGHT?

Waiting for Revelation.

Warframe is the only right answer.

Same reason we wear pants

Are you being sarcastic user? Should I play it?

Capcom recently extended the trademark in the US so hopefully soon

yes, go for it.

ehehe

is this a shill thread?

no one talked about black desert before why is it suddenly popular to do so now?

Because Daum decided to kill it.

No but you can still play it. There's a server where only people who speak english play on though. Shit is fun.

It's pretty good if you don't mind some grinding, the community is pretty chill, but make sure to play it with friends, it's 100 times better than playing alone.

Isn't ping a problem tho?

Not daum but kakao and pearl

how?

Because now you can do something that almost every other game does? Sell cash shop items over the auction house so that people who have money have something to spend it on?

I dont see how this make its dead nor suddenly such a big thing like how WoW put a cash shop into their game.

getting reported by the japs who are xenophobic will get you banned, like any other game.

People keep trying to get on the jap servers for jap games and quickly find all their time invested thrown away. I don't see why they bother.

you can't even trade silver/gold in the game. so now people can just buy the cash shop items and sell them for silver/gold.

But daum promised no p2w so everyone is quitting and the game is pretty much dying

In a game where gear is literally everything, being able to literally buy in-game currency is a big deal you know. Also, they said that because our version was B2P, there wouldn't be any P2W shit later on, which of course was a lie.

>Look at me
>I'm human now

but the game has an auction house where people can sell shit for silver/gold so why isn't that a big deal?

at the end of the day a "dead" game is suddenly doing something that benefits players who invested time to make bank to buy cash shop only items.

why do you care?

are you some kind of special snowflake who is mad their unique billion chandelier home will have competition?

Not really an issue for me barely see any issues. You should join though. youtu.be/B4bDcx85plI?t=2m24s

youtu.be/FdFiHMufzkg

this doesnt make sense, you guys talk about P2W

but this generally levels the playing field.

You are arguing for one thing but being completely contradictory to it.

For example:
If a game offered people to buy cash shop only guns, but makes it so if the player dies any player can run up and pick up his cash shop unique gun and use it until they die.

Doesn't that in itself balance the idea of pay2win by allowing people who don't have access to the item to still gain access to it without having to pay for it?

in this regard, wouldn't allowing people to buy cash shop furniture/costumes/pets and then sell it on the market for people who don't, mean that in the end people who didn't pay a dime still be paying2win?

your temper tantrums are null at this point, and if this game is dead you'd stop bringing it attention instead of acting like this was WoW's 10 million subscribers getting a cash shop installed in a subscription based mmo.

>Black Desert is dead now
>now

Its always been dead.

You got it wrong. What's P2W aren't the carl shop items, but the money you get by selling those items.

ESO seems to be the only one nobody ever complains about anymore

You want to know about the only mmo worth playing?
i can tell you, but you wont like the answer and you'll spout dumb memes
WoW
always has been
always will be

Well, while it DOES allow people who dont want to spend more money than on the game itself acces to costumes, but the people selling costumes will be most likely earning way more ingame silver than a person who literally grinds 24/7, and thats the issue , if the game wasnt as gear based then everyone would let this slide, but since it isnt ,everyone is pretty much quitting because of this

I could spend 50 bucks and get like 200mill silver.

The only MMOs worth playing are WoW and ESO

*Tips fedora*

GW2 is shit, why do people keep mentioning it?

It's doing the latest fashion

You are both wrong, as the true MMO master, I claim GW2 is the only MMO worth playing.

>le funny hat joke

>True MMO master XDDD

We know you're A-net shill user.

>gw2
the world is so stale
the only mmos i've played without a stale feeling world are WoW and ESO and that's why they're worth playing
also they're not dead

WoW truly would be the best mmo, if it didnt look like ass

Hey! Ass looks nice >:I

Wow doesnt.

RF Online is the best MMO. It's dead tho

Gw2 isn't dead, far from it.

what is the horse doing

Its not, if you're russian.

With the way server population and overflow servers work, you couldn't possibly know this.

A very clever cosplay.

When there's 10+ full maps doing the same meta event in the middle of a week day, it's a good sign of a healthy population.

>B2P
What's that

buy to play

Bernie to play

I admit I set up a lot of hopes in BDO. But then the content was lacking.
Melee was shit against bosses.
Grab delays also ruined it.
Very big emphasis on gear.

I'm sure with those Fortress and node war patches it has become a little more interesting, but I can't feel the appeal as the game is just too BLAND.
Rip my warrior and musa cosmetics ;_;

Waiting for Das Tal to get more updates.
Same for Albion but I have little hopes that it becomes good.

Guess I'll try returning to warhammer online to see if they fixed leveling.
Or Rift because the PVP was good when there was actual pvp before max level which I never reached.

I told you don't tell anyone where you friggin' got them.

It's Peer-to-Peer when playing with others. The only real problem you'll have is talking to NPCs and interacting with objects, as that's all handled client-side. It's generally small enough that it's not that big of an issue though.

As said, you can get banned for being non-nip, but as long as you aren't a retard and speak english in Shout, you'll be fine.

>client-side
Server side, I mean.

Nice to know, I'll try it out, thanks.

What's also nice is that you can play nips, provided you only use the pre-done phrases (most of which are translated). From what I can gather, it just displays the phrase from the client-list, so those are safe to use (as they'll appear in Japanese to everyone who hasn't applied the English patch).

>GW2
>grind
For what purpose?New cosmetic items? You don't even need top tier items unless you're raiding.

GW2 already does that;it's possible to convert gems->gold or gold->gems.You can even sell most of the gemstore items on the trading post for gold. What exacly is the problem? I don't play BDO by the way.

>make a game that is not pay to win
>advertise it to said audience that doesn't like p2w
>randomly implement devastating pay to win elements

It's not that hard, you are dumb.

Can't say anything about GW2 since I never played. But BDO's engame is PvP and gear is almost the only thing that matters, so if you have RL money to spend on shit to sell on the marketplace you will have all the gear you want.

Contemplating the meaning of life.

pay2win now.

Selling cash shop items in gear based mmo is what kills it look at archeage.

literally never heard about it before but might check it out because I love the grill from your pic

Tfw you play mmos and buy what you want then chargeback before the 6 months and get all your money back and account is never banned.

This is the new cycle of korean mmos. Hype them up as not being pay to win and make them have an entry fee. Then after about a year or when the game isn't selling anymore randomly make it pay to win as fuck. Harvest the addicted whales for the next year. rinse and repeat.

You people are idiots.

People need to learn what pay2win is, the only difference is that there is no point to gold selling now since there is an official channel. Games still fun but I wouldn't mind the population going down, less people to compete over Sausans with. Overall this is just your typical over reaction, the game will continue on strong after the patch hits.

The problem is that there isn't a gear cap, and people with more money can keep upgrading their gear infinitely to the point where they can solo 2+ raids.
