So far P5 is looking like having the best combat of the series, best dungeons, best "s.link" mechanics or whatever the fuck theyre called now.
The pacing issues also seem to be fixed since from what we seen since gameplay starts in like 18 mins If you followed P5 and rest of the Atlus games released near it, it's obvious this game has a ton of potential to easily be the best Persona game, maybe even the best Atlus game overrall

The director of P5 has never made a bad game. P5 has been in development longer than P3 and P4 combined. It'll be good and hopefully GOTY.

Catherine wasn't bad. It did what it set out to do which was be a puzzle game.

There's no fucking way. If P4 got review scores of 90+, this will easily get the same or higher since everything shown so far is a vast improvement over pretty much every aspect from every game in the series.

I don't think anything can outdo Mighty No. 9 in the disappointment department for this year. Everything currently out and that will still come out this year has some kind of redeeming factor about it.

The saddest thing about all this is around November, ATLUS USA will start re-releasing all the Japanese trailers, but with shitty English voice acting, while pretending the Japanese version of the game (and all the spoilers flooding the Internet) don't exist.

No one is going to be taken by surprise with P5. At the very least, I hope ATLUS USA gets better performances than the robotic-sounding bullshit they put together with P3 and P4.
