I'm torn, I dug up the game for cheap about a year ago but couldn't play it through because Wii U up ressing made it look like garbage. But now this exists, looks beautiful but I'm seeing all the bad reviews for the controls and frame rate. Maybe it plays better if I use a controller?

Its too bad they didn't add anything like another kingdom or a new class otherwise I would feel more inclined to get the PC version.

One of my all time favorite games. It's too bad the PC port was botched. I really wanted to see how the game was received among the PC gaming crowd.

People don't even know what a shit port is anymore. I'm convinced these morons never played a PC port from more than 10 years ago. MGS1 and 2 are bad ports, Bully is a bad port, FF7 is a bad port, this idea that modern Japanese ports are unbelievably terrible because they don't work well without a gamepad is fucking retarded.

That's why they both made the Neo and Scorpio, publicly stating "it's so our enthusiasts won't leave to PC".
The manufacturers themselves know secondaries are the main audience for consoles today.

You just have lower standards, unless you happen to own the exact developer hardware combination (which is one in thousand chances), bad ports behave largely the same for everyone

It'll be interesting to see how that experiment pans out. If I had to guess, both will do poorly at initial MSRP, especially if the previous models see a price cut, but high adoption very late in the systems' lives, which is about when the publishers will be preparing 'real' upgrades and people will start feeling ripped off Sega-style.

I think that will become the new upgrade cycle instead. It's going to be an excuse to shit out next-gen earlier, they just make it compatible with all the games.

So people have two price range choices (3 by next gen) for the same library at all times.

Much better than how consoles currently work (with no BC, that is).
