I don't want to play anything remotely happy, nothing with a bright color pallet, but I also don't want to play a feels game or something that makes me sad.
So, maybe, emotionally neutral games thread?

Hmm What are your interests? Do you like Japanese games?
Leo Cruz

I play almost everything, but right now multiplayer games don't sound very appealing. I've never tried what I would call a "Japanese" game, but I'm willing to try anything.
James Perez
some action grindan that gives you sense of accomplishment so you forget about being miserable

Do you like Gundam? What about RPGs?
Benjamin Myers
Maybe a Fallout game. Chill wasteland exploration.
Mason Fisher
I played an Armored Core game once, didn't like it much. I like Western mech games more desu.
RPGs can be quite nice, but it depends a bit on the mechanics. I don't much like the feel of Final Fantasy games, I'm afraid, except I really enjoyed a, oh, I think it was a Final Fantasy Tactics game. That was fun.
Jordan Fisher
I've had my fun with Fallout 4 and NV.
Easton Allen
diabloids like PoE and GrimDown, MonsterHunter, Dragon Dogma
Jordan Williams
Limbo

I might have to try PoE. Is it still good? I remember it having much more of a gaming-community presence, but I haven't seen anything for a while.
Colton Murphy
It's amazing.

Elite dangerous is a game you can sink your head into and just drown in if you're enough of a sperg. The composer of the soundtrack even spoke of its intended neutrality in dictating player emotional response.
Christian Barnes
Hmm... I might suggest the Thief series, starting, of course, with the first one. Maybe The Void. Though that is definitely a feels game, it doesn't quite start as such, and is so difficult that I think just getting to grips with it will provide a more than sufficient buffer between you and the feels. I think the Hitman series fits what you're saying. Sandbox assassination, try out all sorts of different shit. The new one's pretty great IMO. Killing Floor, Helldivers maybe if you like co op... Euro Truck Simulator or another one of those sims? Those are about as neutral as you can get.
David Bell
don't have a gun with a short enough barrel to make that easy
I've played E:D but got to a Vulture and said fuck it, it didn't feel great to get the better ship and that's what most of the progression was based on so I gave up.
Have Helldivers but I hate playing pubs, friends are all away over the summer, and even then they don't play it. Otherwise, gud gaym
Aaron Cooper
Witcher 3 would be good for you. Have you played it
Leo Murphy
Just finished it last week, actually. Loved it.

Pathologic STALKER are my suggestions

Imo, stalker is an eerie and depressing game. Dark and unforgiving

Depression Quest. Literally a 10/10. It even won independent game of the year.

try Transistor, its comfy as fuck and pretty sad throughout the whole thing, until the end. where its either happy or really sad depending on how you see it

Monster Hunter took me out of my life for a good 2 weeks. I almost forgot I want to kill myself.
Until I had to grind out the silverwind set, and then it only amplified.
