I got a 780 detective named Case day 12, and now I get around 250 plus and then some plebs around 150. Even got a 3 badge 400 something cop day 20ish. It rotates over time.

Stopped at day 83 which is a good amount of time after that case.

I played trough all game no one even tried to snitch me, while I sold everything trough mafia and only split between my men when I got less or around 1k. Also did some side jobs that didn't degrade morale of my underlings. Rats died fast, trough, but that helped get rid of low level cops.

how exactly it's rng? daily missions depends on cop points sum, units required and mission type, investigations - for a case assign a detective from each shift. The more points hey have, the faster you will get all pieces.

It's all filler and no killer but it'll easily last you 10+ hours by how much you have to wait around for the RNG to give you your meaningless results.

The points just shift the odds in your favour, it's still random bullshit such as 4 senior officers dying during a random noise complaint but 4 rookies all surviving a massacre shooting of 10+ gunmen. This game is all smoke & mirrors and not even good smoke or mirrors.

After like day 60 they just start dropping like flies on the same banale cases where they did fine in the first month, it's so obviously shallow.

Which is ok I guess, the game is fun for a "youve got an hour of free time to fuck around with before X" that you can play. I doubt we'd ever get a SWAT 4 or something similar again and if we did im sure it would either be filled with Call of Duty run and gun gameplay or have DEEP MORAL REAL SOCIAL PROBLEMS shoehorned into the game.

Keep investigating for more frames. Unless it bugged out and you're not getting more frames. Can try archiving & restarting it under a new detective, no clue if that works but I've had cases bug out on me as well.

first of all I disagree. second: the only real consequence is marginally worsened relations with City Hall. I'm not good at the game and we've been solid three thumbs up for a long time now.

Reminder that even if you severely limit your corruption you still become a jackass after the coma. Game gives the illusion of choice.

and point cops also rise..what's your point? If you rise your pocemons correctly, you will have some 2 or 3 really good ones, most of them good ones and few worst ones. For best shift I had 1 around 1900, 1 around 1600, some 8 from 900-7xx and few around 500-600. And it went suprisingly well for me. Few times I lost cops at the end part was because I get cocky. Sent 3 middle ones and 1 or 2 lowest ones without one with >1k points were full team, swat and bus was required.

Swat4 suffered from balance problems, AI derps and some bloat in mechanics, but the core game was good. Getting high ranks without any abuse was challenging as shit.

SWAT 4 is good but of course the game's premise leaves you less in the way of problem solving.

There isn't much to decide when your job is to go in, shoot the baddies and rescue the hostages. How you do it only affects the final score that isn't used for anything but jerking off to.

I'm on day 85 and so far I haven't seen any tendency towards that. 150 is where a policeofficer is acceptable, 400 seems to be about where he/she can reliably handle two-man calls on his/her own
