Should I finish this game?

My brother has it for the PS4 and I started it but I never finished it.

I just became a Digihacker or whatever and chose my first Digimon and used the shin megam itensei systems a bit.

Story good? worth restarting and completing?

No, and no.

Gonna have to agree, OP. It's fun for a little bit, but won't be winning any RPG awards any time soon.

So I just got Greymon and Garurumon. Is it possible to get Omnimon in this game?

Yes
You're Anonymous. Aren't you already a hacker on steriods

Are you kidding? He's the most popular digimon of all time!

Do yourself a favour and don't overlevel

If you dropped the game THAT fast, you really wouldn't want to be where I dropped the game. I have over 24 hours played, but 18 of it was powerleveling.

well my brother bought it for himself. I was more just trying it.

It looks nice though, good character designs anyway and runs nice on the PS4 port I guess.

if there's no story I don't really want to.

>Not using platinumsukamon,
You deserve it.
Also if you though this had had a lot of grinding play digimon world 3, then you will know true grinding.

Why is this girl such a slut? Nobody wears clothes like that.

Garterbelts get me so hard.

>Nobody wears clothes like that.

You'd be surprised.

Why does the cast remind me so much of Devil Survivor?

That guy top right literally steals Hiro's looks.

And the girl top left reminds me of Yuzu.

It's a decent popcorn RPG. It's not gonna change the way you look at games, but it does a good job of scratching an itch that the lack of decent JRPGs in recent years have left, and if you liked Digimon as a kid then it's a nice rush of nostalgia.

You do kind of have to like a bit of grinding to get any significant enjoyment out of it, however, even with PlatinumSukamon and those EXP UP accessories. Since, to me, my favorite part of the game was just going back and forth on the Digivolution tree and seeing what my mons would Digivolve into next. Plus, it's just kinda neat to see a game that mish-mashes elements of Digimon Tamers, .hack, and Shin Megami Tensei.

Same character designer. Arata being an almost 1:1 copy of the Devil Survivor 2 protag is pretty blatant, though.

Because it is the same artist doing character designs.

I'll need some proof of that.

This

I got too excited for my fave digimons so I did the platinum sukamon grinding mission trick for... a few hours and while I got my boi evil Cherubimon I ended up with a full party of level 99s full of the highest tier skills. Whoops, I accidentally shitstomped the game.

I don't need to show you shit. Just the fact that they sell this shit is enough to prove that people buy it.

Eighteen hours power-leveling Hagurumon's mission with a team of three weak hitting PlatinumSukamons, Nine Strategist's USB, and rotating roster.

The irony is that the first story mission I took on after doing that, had me going against a single Mega that was somehow faster than my team of three level 90+ Megas.

>Whoops, I accidentally shitstomped the game
and by the end the game shit stomps you, unless you play on normal, if so you shit stomp everything regardless which level you are,

I like how I'm starting to see digimon topics right after I bought the game myself.
It's a fun game, nothing game changing. I spent like $20 on it and already got 21 hours on it. I could stop playing it right now and I'd be happy. But I'm still into the game.

I love the different lines each digimon has. I love looking at all the ultimates and Megas and saying "oh shit I want that one".
How do I get the usbs that boost exp? I have two of the silver shit digimon right now but no place to really grind.

Which one was that, was it Ulforceveedramon?

It's very mediocre. The story isn't anything special, it's ugly as hell because it was originally a vita exclusive, the quests are mostly retarded backtracking and raising digimon is just pure grind.

Not sure, but he was able to attack multiple times in one turn. It only took one turn to defeat him but talk about artificial difficulty.

how far in the game were you, because most endgame bosses can kill you before you even get a turn.

Storys generic as hell, battle systems smt lite meaning its somehow easier/worse than the simple smt battle systems, dungeons are shit, but atleast the character design and settings look nice.
Its a mediocre game at BEST because youll be spending most of your time grinding for digivolving in boring ass dungeons. Dont fall for the cyber memes saying this game is goty material.

Well let's see.

>Typing system more simplistic than Pokemon
>Hard mode is totally untested
>Dungeons look the same
>The only special enemies are bosses and the very rare sparse digiguys, no other hackers littered around to challenge their unique teams
>Otherwise only random encounters are in dungeons
>Grinding within grinding in order to meet certain evolution standards
>Story is trash

I think it's kind of justified for her character. Usually we have characters in anime games who dress like sluts but have this extremely conservative attitude that, contracting the whole point of wearing something like that. In her case she's shown to be fully aware of her sex appeal and a major tease. She's a gyaru without the tan and casual sex.

LucemonDLC battle is kicking my ass, he just keeps crossing me into oblivion.

The game's so fucking easy you don't have to exploit it. Stop being a casual.

It is only easy if you play it on normal which actually should be called easy mode.

On top of that, the side content is pretty challenging. I'd imagine that most players would lose to Lucemon, Imperialdramon PM, and Leviamon on their first try. UlforceVeedramon is practically mandatory.

Speaking of Ulforce, this game's PVP is broken as shit. His ability to get the first hit is broken, and if you get him status inflicting attacks then he could easily cripple a team. Online Nips are meta enough to use anti-status abilities and set-ups, but pierce attacks can tear them a new one. Pierce attacks bypass defence and int. Then there's ShineGreymon BM, whose can easily tear through mons with high defence. Final Shine Burst doesn't use a lot of SP and can be spammed unlike Belphemon RM's attack. All he needs is one Accel Boost.

This game makes Mega Khan and Mega Salamence seem balanced.

Honestly... it's not that easy if you don't use the exploit. I never used it and got to around chapter 12 when some of the side quests actually got kinda hard.

Everyone who claims it's so easy basically used the exploit.

Even on normal? Fuck. I need another platinumSakumon then.

Where can I get the exp boost USB?
