What kind of computer chair do you have? Mine broke recently and I've been looking for something new.
What kind of computer chair do you have? Mine broke recently and I've been looking for something new
Hi, Mr Chairs, can I call you Computer?
Only if you play my games.
I tend to use lawn chairs. My friend buys extremely expensive recliners, but I always end up passing out while playing.
>What kind of computer chair do you have?
Spent 800 or so on this... 7 or 8 years ago.
I spend around 10 hours a day sitting on it. I don't have any back, shoulder, neck, arm or leg problems.
Comparatively, I have a hard time spending just a few hours sitting in a car or plane.
are gaming chairs good?
This doesn't look like it has any adjustability like meaning you won't be able to tailor it to your body, making it shit.
I have a couch. It's comfy as fuck, I sit on it basically 24/7 and have no problems with my back or anything.
Ikea Markus
Cheap, comfortable, looks good. Literally no reason to get anything else
do we still need wheely spindles in 2016?
>Spent 800
I seriously hope you don't mean 800 dollars. for that kind of money you could get a way better chair man jesus you got scammed. that shit should cost a little over 100 at most.
...
Gaming chairs are awful. Most are too small, and the ones that are too big, are massive.
Honestly yes, DXRacer and Maxnomic have surprisingly high standards but they are pretty expensive. They aren't too cushy but that's good for you. They can lean back very far and are really durable.
But that's wrong. My dad always buys 100$ chairs from Staples and most last him a year or two at most while always giving him issues.
This one has lasted me 8 years and still looks and works like new. Plus a 100$ chair never has this level of adjustability, which is what matters most in a chair you spend a long time sitting in.
This is best chair ever created. Period.
>aeron
i'm thinking of getting one for 350. should i do it?
I have something similar to this.
go for it
dxracer are said to be good. Keep in mind that in addition to the cost of a chair that is however good a dx is, you are also paying for a tacky design and gaymen branding marketing
Buy an ergonomic office chair instead, you'll get more for your money. Do some basic research. Avoid leather
Just buy a Serta back in motion chair. Goes for $200-250
proper gaming chair is a must-have, but be prepared to spend at least $2700 for entry-level
Herman-Miller Aeron plus a third-party headrest. Very comfy indeed.
Skip the armrests, you won't need 'em but do get the tilt and tilt limiter options for maximum comfiness.
Im using a captains chair from a van with casters attached to the bottom
fuckin comfy
I just use a modded ikea chair.
I always go to the office store and look at the chairs rated for long term work sessions. Make sure to sit in them too.
Gaming chairs are a joke
>are gaming chairs good?
Gaming chairs are good ...
...at separating idiots from their money.
Read my lips: BUY A QUALITY OFFICE CHAIR. They're designed to hold an office drone's fat ass for 10 hours a day, 5 days a week without causing any ergonomic problems for an entire decade before wearing out.
This beaten by life and my ass, but nevertheless comfy motherfucker
My uncle liberated me a Martela Axia 2 from an office relocation, they were shedding a lot of mint quality items to make the move happen faster. It retails around $800 and it's fucking great, beats the old $200 clunker I used to have in every imaginable way.
>I don't know anything about office chairs: the post
>air canister chairs
That picture scared the shit out of me. I can't use chairs like the one in the OP pic anymore.
picked up a brand new barber's chair, nothing better
dxracer.com
was considering this one
See
The chair in that infamous picture was a shoddily built Chinese one. Actually well-built chairs are not only far less prone to exploding, they also have a sizable steel plate to prevent those sudden unwanted prostrate examinations
I use the Edsken black Malkolm chair from Ikea. It's aight.
>that one kid who always had this kind of bullshit
i've tried office chairs in the past. i'm on my second one now. they don't feel good. i want something that has a bucket seat. otherwise i don't sit back in the seat and end up hunching over.
Aerons are overrated. There are better chairs now, it isn't the 90s anymore. Also you can find them and others much cheaper than $350 on craigslist if you don't live in the middle of nowhere.
Got this for $75 and it's far better than an Aeron. Read reviews.
>"gaming" chair
>doesn't have a secret stash for gamer fuel
>mfw barber chairs are actually comfy as fuck
Oh shit I might buy one
...
pls r8
>no recline
ahahahaha
amazon.com
Chair has two pieces, the back support and lumbar support. The chair actually pivots and supports your lower back if you sit straight and forward.
Best chair i've ever sat it, however the first day will be awkward having so much support for your back.
Step your game up plebs
>chair is years old
>used to share it with my brother
>I am stupidly sweaty under hot weather
>chair is made of cloth and cheap foam
>over the years it got impregnated with ass sweats, farts and days of not showering
>wash it with water and soap one day
>bottom parts are plastic so the water ended up pooling up despite leaving it laying sideways
>it did jack diddily and actually made it stink more
>whenever I sit in it it makes my pants, boxers and ass reek of years of foul smells
I should probably just burn it and buy a new one.
now this looks comfy as shit, thanks user
i really didn't want to have to get a dxracer and this looks like it has a lot of padding too
i just bought a dxracer sentinel a few weeks ago, and i like it a lot. it's very comfortable, built very well and feels like it will last a long time, plus it has lots of adjustments
i see a lot of people complain about squeaking in the up/down of the canister, but i haven't had that problem. it was kind of expensive, but i sit in it for like 8 hours a day and it will last for probably a decade or more, so i don't mind too much
jesus christ, he's not even putting his fingers on the buttons
after reading some reviews it seems like some people really hate it, so i might go to an office depot to sit in one if possible
$6000 but we'll worry it.
>he fell for the cheap 400 dorrah chair memes
Spotted the manchild.
Reminder :^)
Fucking Jedi plebs
>mom got me one of those once
>my fat ass dented it
It sure does and it does it far better than an Aeron with far more adjustments. Check reviews before you make youself look like an idiot.
It's not a fat person chair, most complaints I saw said its because their fat ass couldn't sit in it. Now I am like 30-40lbs overweight and there is plenty of space. So unless your morbidly obese the chair is fine.
you are all like little babbies
This, minus the crappy cushion on the back has been my chair for about ten months. It is bearable once you get used to it.
i own one and never use it, cat sleeps inside of it when its folded up. shits stupid.
Those headphone cords aren't going to run over themselves.
he's obviously playing a racing game where r1 is accleration. just look at him trying to steer the controller.
fucking richfags
dude that's my chair
got it in black """leather""" though, can't have cloth for shirtless, pantless game-sessions
The black one is only good one, the other variants locking mechanisms always break on me.
Then there's this asshole
i need a good chair with a high back
i dont like the bullshit chairs that only go up half your back
>sitting naked on leather
>not getting a custom teak scrote stool
the only problem I have with it is that it's leather/pleather. i'd prefer a non-leather seat
the "back in motion" bit sounds good to help me keep my back straight though but i'm still probably going to try it before i buy it
>wants a shitty gaymen chair styled after a race car seat
>not going for the real thing
racechairs.com
>comes with an anal probe
>All the fat fucks in this thread
bought this.
sick of faggy office chairs.
Race car seats are not comfortable for long periods. Why would I want the real thing?
Anyone else use one of these? Not only is it fun, you can build core strength while you vidya.
You would think that a kid would know how to hold a fucking controler even if he is a model.
why would you ever buy one especially if you think it's stupid?
everyone I've ever known that had one hated it and it was bought by their clueless parents.
you can set a recline angle but you can't recline the seat like all the good office chairs, you're shilling dogshit
>Sit on one for a hour
>Muscle pains in abdomen the next day
And such is good signs.
:-(
have one of these for muh posture
its uncomfortable as fuck
looks comfortable at least.
And we thought gayming chairs were retarded
If you gonna car seat just get some luxury car seat and put it on wheels.
If you have the space a big truck's seat is probably the best thing ever, considering those have to be good enough so companies don't get sued to shit by drivers who drive all day
As long as your hips are less than a foot wide.
Maybe up to 14 inches, or else the metal bars in the side of the seat will dig into your thighs.
Similar thing for the shoulders, but I don't remember those numbers.
Looks more like something made so I can bend you over it and fuck you user.
Got one of these for my posture, works great
>Bend user over the uncomfortable posture chair
>It falls over because he can't reach the ground
a chair like that wouldn't keep you straight for long
Someone on Sup Forums said this was good, but it's $200 and won't be near the Ikea store for another week -- I can run down to Staples today which is having 50% off all chairs. Is it significantly better?
Thats cool but I'd prefer either an automatic or a one incorporating an entire other man.
Have it. If only it had adjustable armrests. They end up adjoin to my table so i can't move chair close enough for comfortable reach.
it's alright, i don't really have anything to compare it to
it's probably better to run down to staples and sit on a bunch of chairs and see what suits you more
...
>whateventhefuckisthis.jpg
In this price range you are buying a chair thats going to shit itself within 2 years user.
>Mfw they had like 50 of these at walmart
>They never got sold
There's this huge block for these only, they're like at his 5th clearance right now, going like for 10% of the original price
So I should spend double that to get a chair that will last 4 years, you snarky fuck?
No, you should quadruple it and buy something that will last and is actually good for you.
Skimping on things that separate you from the ground is a surefire way to health issues in your future.
Or dying in your car.
The chair in question comes with 10 years warranty (at least in my IKEA)
