Pirate a game

>pirate a game
>enjoy it
>finish it
>credits roll
>...And you!
>Thank you for playing our game! We appreciate your support!

why do you keep posting the same thread

but it's the first time I posted this
>tfw you are not original

>pirate game
>surprisingly enjoyable unlike most of the games
>feel guilty

Kill yourself

>pirate game
>either play it for like 10-20 minutes or let it sit on hard drive without even booting it once, just feel no motivation to play

>buy game
>actually play and finish it

>pirate game
>like it
>buy it
How hard is that? If you pirate games and keep playing them because you like them you're doing yourself a disservice not supporting games that were made right. How else are devs in a Capitalist system supposed to know people like their content if they aren't getting paid for it?

>pirate game
>never finish it
The problem with excess.

>Pirate game
>Like it
>Buy it
>Never play again, 0/190 achievements
It hurts.

>the game was shit anyways

>Emulate handheld/console game
>Enjoy it
>Buy game
>Don't even own the system

>Play game
>Don't touch for a long time
>Play again, make new save file
I have never truly 100%'d any of my 5 pokemon games.

This.

>pirate game
>enjoy it and finish it

>buy game
>sits in library for eternity never played

>when you buy a game you pirated

>>pirate a game
>>enjoy it
>>finish it

I usually close the game when credit rolls starts cause I dont give a flyable fuck to credits

>When the devs tell you to pirate it if you're worried and buy it later

>pirate game
>play through it
>"Thank you for playing and supporting us"
>think "Haha, sucker!"
to be fair the only two games I pirated as of late were Starbound and Undertale, both of which were dissaponting.

why not release a demo version like 10 years ago

>pirate a game
>never play it or play it rarely
>buy a game
>play it a lot

I say if you are a pc dev, GIVE OUT A FUCKING DEMO.
No, asking steam refunds is a finicky business since you might overshoot your 2 hour playtime, so dont be lazy. If there is no demo aviable, I'll just pirate it. If I like it, chances of me paying are rather low. I must be REALY into the game at this point, since no demo is one of my things I hate the most.

>buy game
>emulate it on PC

Feels aight.

wait you people genuinely feel guilty about it?
what is so very wrong with you?

>pirate game
>boot it up
>It is expressly forbidden and illegal to distribute this game software over the internet
>I seeded it

Devs only think sales count if they get them in the first month anyway. After that your vote doesn't count.

In this capitalist system, unless a game sells millions on word of mouth alone for some unknown indie dev, the only thing sales tells anyone is how effective the marketing department was.

>1998
>buy Nintendo 64
>buy 15 games for it over lifespan
>put it away for good in 2001
>2006
>download pc emulator and Pirate every game
>stop playing a few months later
>2016 (last week actually)
>download emulator for Android tablet
>Pirate all n64 games
>connect wireless controller
>have the most amazing gaming experience in years playing Super Mario 64

Piracy is the greatest thing ever.

>pirate game
>like it
>buy it USED
