The Nintendo Mini is Nintendo's response to not having a console to release for the holiday season, and pushing the NX to March.
They figured they'd just do this and try to recoup the huge losses they are going to experience over Christmas because the Wii U is dead and the NX isn't coming out.

Get a wii and have every nes game you want and you even get a shitty small two button controller to play it with.
I will say it sucks there isn't a wired one though, fuck batteries
