Played and enjoyed all of those except for Binary Domain.

All were at least good, while Nier was made great by merit of it's god tier soundtrack.

Are you talking about games that are "meh" overall, or games that have specific strengths and weaknesses?

Some 7/10 games are very fun because they do a few things very well while their flaws limit their broad market appeal.

What is bait about those? Most of them have some pretty major flaws but are still balanced out due to the merits. That's pretty definitively "okay" to me.

None of these were BAD, but none of these were GREAT either.

GTA IV is an okay game - It just has a big budget that gives people the impression that it's good. Same applies to the GTA series

It always surprises me how good the game actually despite it's appearance.

I've only played Killzone 1 and that was such a generic FPS. The Hellghast and weapon variety are what made it fun.

But I liked all those games except Alpha Protocol. Just because I recognize these games for what they are, mediocre games with interesting aspects and the fact that I can't say they are "great" doesn't mean I didn't like them, they are all incredibly flawed even if they have redeeming qualities.

RDR and GTA are R* open world games. That's literally the only thing they have in common. Other than that, they are as different as night and day.

GTA4 is a good example of an okay game, but RDR was a different beast entirely.

Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess, Windwaker is better aside from Triforce shard grinding fuck that shit
