So we all know that nu-core is simplistic or "thought provoking" games that sometimes, but not always are less focused on violence and tend to have female or minority leads on their pedestal. Such games as No Man's Sky, TLoU, Soulsborne, Dear Esther, Dragon Age, etc.
But what exactly constitutes eld-core? Classically appreciated games that take skill to master or have good stories without sacrificing any gameplay for the layman like Legacy of Kain, God Hand, Ninja Gaiden, Deus Ex?

NNB is not really a anime about story, it's more "Feel comfy: the anime". People like to make obscure theories about it, but it's really subtle things (if they're true to begin with), the true focus is in the comfy/cute.
Second season is pretty similar, but with others situations/stories, it also is not a direct sequence, but a retelling of the same year in different periods (I think).
I would say that NNB is moe done right.
