Have you ever won any video games contests when you were younger?

Back when those NES ports game out for GBA my local Hollywood Video had a contest to play a series of them
I practiced for it but when I got there all of my competition was kids who played like they had never played any of the games before in their life so I won every segment super easily
they gave me a hat and then for a bonus decided to just hand me a sealed copy of Mortal Kombat Deception they happened to have lying around

I won a Hugo tournament on their studio and got a PS1 for it, showed up on tv too.

Melee tournament with items.

Some older guy I beat in the finals told me I was good "for my age" and that I'll be really strong once I grow up and both me and my sister kept joking about how weird that guy seemed, that he was some kind of secret guru and shit.
We were laughing at it for weeks.

I'm now an adult that does nothing all day but browse the net and play vidya and I suck at it.

Was at a game convention for the new Super Nintendo with my mother.
One of the employees noticed my autistic blank stare and let me play before everyone else.

I won a DDR/ITG tournament but only because the best player in my city DQ'ed himself since he was hosting it.

Won a THPS3 tournament.

The prize was a pretty sweet skateboard. I don't know why they thought someone who've played an excessive amount of a videogame would know how to use an actual skateboard though.

I won a Tomodachi Life contest where you had to make a song about friendship in the performance mode in the game, and you could win any 3DS game and Tomodachi Life for a friend.

My song was about an Alien who couldn't find friends because he could only find cows. I chose Animal Crossing New Leaf and gave the extra copy to my friend. Then some nigger later on stole some of my 3DS games, including New Leaf.

My uncle got a SNES of a game magazine, most fun I had as a kid along with his PS1.

Wrote some spastic joke about a wig and a turd going into a bar, the barman refused to serve them because one was already steaming and the other was off his head.
Won House of the Dead and a light gun for my sega saturn, was pretty cash.
