Why do people expect these kinsd of games to succeed? the're the kind of games that only work in the fat future where consoles are overpowered machines that can have holograms and even fly like a fucking sci fi movie.

We barely hear anything about Dreams, dude. Besides, it's Media Molecule.
If anything, Horizon will probably be the next over-hyped meme game:

Media Molecule is hardly indie.
How is a game where you can build your own levels and characters garbage?

One thing is LBP starting how as a simple level maker.

Another thing is a can where you can make everything, which is a concept that not only doesn't work on PS4 but maybe even on the best gaming PC ever made.

You never know whether or not the concept ends up well.

Its not just games, you can make animations and film stuff like in LBP

So it's not really a game

But LBP had a single player story where you had to unlock tools and stuff for the level creator

I was being sarcastic, of course its a fucking game.
There is a single player aspect to it which hasnt been really delved into, they are mostly showing off the content creator side and how its going to be used in the story mode.

Then the SP better be fun, even if it's just to showcase waht you can do with the creator tools
