Point 'n' Clicks

One of the few genres where graphics don't matter overly and story is the selling point.

looks cool, one more for my backlog

In Gray Matter you press the space bar to toggle it on and off, I hate that about Broken Sword Directors cut and The Last Express Gold Edition.
Made by the woman who did Gabriel Knight

I missed the telltale humble and want to play Wolf Among. Surely there is a market for old humble keys somewhere?

while I like TWAU for its atmosphere, telltale stuff aren't "really" PnCs. more like visual novels

I tried to like Gray Matter, but the ending and the reveal are just so mediocre I can't. I

Polish dev named Scriptwelder.

Been around since newgrounds heyday , his don't escape series is pretty fine and he's done alot of other original games.

Highly recommend.

So like Post Mortem and Still Life and Scratches?

I love point&clicks. Grew up with Indiana Jones, Sam&Max, Leisure Suit Larry and most of the Sierra series.

Can't wait for Broken Sword 6.

No wadjeteye games mate?

I have Gemini Rue there, Sorry I can't remember every fucking point and click game I've ever played

I remember I have to finish the Secret Files games

I thought of going back to the first one but then I remember the puzzle where you have to find a hole in a pipe by going back to your house and putting it in a bucket of water

Do people expect the new Syberia game to be good?

I'm trying to clear my backlog so I can play the first two games and be ready for December, because it looks interesting.

Cautiously hopeful

Don't forget the Sierra On-Line classics that gave birth to the genre as we know it. King's Quest IV-VII are must plays.

Could you guys recommend any great point and click or similar to point and click games?

I've played the cat lady, primordia, fran bow, machinarium and a little bit of myst.

anything that's abnormally good?

Try Samorost Series.
I also enjoyed A Vampyre Story. A lot of it has already been mentioned.

The Last Express

thanks guys

No Shivers

If you haven't played the gold standard Monkey Island 1-3 then do that, pronto.
I Have No Mouth But I Must Scream is "abnormally good" in that it's a proper test of lateral thinking that is really rewarding if you're into dark subject matters especially.
Basically just go with the old standards; Monkey Island, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Flight of the Amazon Queen, Beneath a Steel Sky
