For starters I think the tick rate is a big issue. At least bump it to 60.

Do you know how long its been since I've seen someone play Bastion for more than 3 deaths before switching?

He is literally only good with a Reinhardt, and even then you'd be better off playing a Sniper/Tank class in his place. He just dies too quickly now that everyone knows how to counter him perfectly, it really isnt hard to deal ~300 Damage to an enemy planted to the ground with a large hitbox.

Nothing will ever re-live the Hype Years of TF2. Its gone. It turned into a Gamble-Accessorie simulator, and got taken over by Furries and Kiddos.

Make it less: "press a key and wipe the entire team"

Genji's Swift Strike should only do damage in his Ult. Form. In normal play, it should work as a dodge for getting away from Bastion/Gunfire/Explosions

Too many times do I die simply from 6 Shuriken in the back, and then an unnavoidable dash forward.

>Hanzo
- Increase ult travel time by 1.5 seconds, Fix Scatter arrows ricochet mechanic to be actually viable to hit around corners with and more predictable. Slightly reduce damage of a none full charged arrow.
>Genji
- Reduce hit box on the deflect to accurately represent his model rather than twice the size.
- Reduce ult gain percentage.

These are just a few guesses and obviously no body has taken the time to really think any of these out so here are just some that come straight to mind. Some of these are just straight up nerfs because I personally don't like how certain ults are dominating in the meta currently.

You don't need some magical impossible dream game where every character is equally picked and viable for a game to be good. It's a lot like fighting games, as long as the meta is fun then the game is fine.

I've been enjoying this meta, really solid since they nerfed McCree fan, Mercy and put a one hero limit.

There are no hard counters for the top heroes, and the top heroes are the hard counters to the mid heroes, the low heroes are just generaly worthless at everything.

I was so tired of every match having xoxogurlgamurxoxo on my team playing nothing but heal slut while somehow managing to contribute next to nothing to my team. Now I only get them once every 20 matches or so, the rest have given up and moved to a different game.

So then whats the best approach? Nerf top characters or buff bottom characters?

I don't know why EVERYONE can't see friendly health bars. Shield bars would be nice too.

slightly better splash damage on pharah

zarya cool down on shields increased but maybe increase shield hp or duration slightly to compensate, maybe vice versa as well and lower cd but weaken shields

reaper slightly harsher range drop off but higher fire rate to compensate

idk what to do with mccree hes a fucked character, lower his lmb flat damage but increase fire rate so he has to land multiple nice shots instead of landing a bursty sniper shot or something

60 tick, rework roadhog so hook doesn't guarantee kill on half the cast, nerf genji so kills don't immediately reset cooldowns, lower his ult time and range. Buff Torb, Symettra and Mercy.

Make her have a better role as a support if she is gonna be mostly a pocket healer with no DPS. Zen and Lucio can both heal and put out damage at the same time, making them more useful in most situations, and they do so without putting themselves in danger.

With this she is both not a null character if she team/pocket dies without ult, able to both escape and have some possible survivability with the healing properties of her gun, and the halo allows her provide potential buffs in the heat of battle to increase her utility to more than just one person on her staff.

Now she can actually compete with Zen and Lucio

Unless you're in communication with your team (90% of the time people arent unless its a premade) everyone ignores a target with discord on it except for Zen who put it there.

No, Mercy deserves the position she is in right now

Fixing the tick rate would fix his hook which would fix much of the frustration about him. You can predict pretty easdily and avoid if you are zarya, reaper, genji, even mei and have your ability up but anyone else and you see a roadhog around the corner you just groan because you know you're gonna get hooked.

So many times it will look like the hook misses me, then pulls me in last second even though its on the wind back

Some of the characters have it yeah, but everyone should have it, even if they don't have shields or heals to give. It's beneficial to know if your teammates are near death before you push in with them, or if you get lightly injured and start heading for a medpack only to see someone more injured and leave it for them.

That sounds awful.

Just give Mercy the ability to latch onto 2 Teammates at once. Heal a Reinhardt while also damage boosting the Soldier-76 at the same time, or heal a D-VA and have a Lucio spamming damage.

When you launch the game, it auto uninstalls itself, installs TF2 and launches that instead.

It'd be a big help.

Mercy literally is "hold down the mouse button until it is time to Q" the character.

There isn't any though, strategy, or even fun in playing her other than the big rez. Other than that you're a wasted slot because Lucio and Zen can heal while doing moderate to great DPS as well as ults that counter, rather than just react.

And this doesn't help that the characters designed to work in tandem with Mercy's passive float (Pharah) also suck ass in the current meta, making her even less viable.

give the jetpack a higher top speed and acceleration

Lucio shouldn't have to hold down the button to wallrun. One button press per new wall. This will allow better ability to aim while wallrunning. It doesn't make sense why he'd have to hold the button down

She is still completely outclassed by Ana(who can out heal her, deal great ranged damage, while also having be ult in the game) and Zen/Lucio who can do the jobs of healer and DPS at the same time instead of being a mobile dispenser with moderately good ult.

She also has shit self-heals where as lucio has is constantly, Zen's shields heal faster than her health, and Ana can instantly get 100HP.

Mercy just doesn't have the utility to compete, and being able to overheal a single target to 1.5 either health isn't gonna change that.

Unless you're suggesting being able to have decaying 1.5 overheal, you're a a fucking idiot, because the way health is in the game, overheals would by default make non-tanks pointless. Why play as good DPS genji when I can strut around as 900HP Streetpig, 600HP Zarya, or have a 1500 winston ult just strolling around?

Mei should not heal in her ice form, it should just exist to let team mates get her out of a situation.

Reinhardt should recharge his skills by using hammerdown.

The same attacks that go through reinhardts shields should also go through Zaryas and D.vas.

Bastion should have a smaller amount of ammo in turret form.

Torb should be able to heal Bastions because why not, he's a turret too.

The only times i find tf2 fun again is when the weapon servers are down and everyone is forced to play with stock weapons.

You can actually do damage while healing, move independently and with greater dodging/contesting abilities, manipulate enemy positioning (knockback), speed boost for rollouts and pushes, and his ult essentially negates everything but Dva and Roadhogs ults.

Your damage is complete ass. Mercy damage boost is far more useful than lucio "damage".

Damage Boost is pointless in the long run. Even on someone with massive burst damage like Phar/Junkrat who goes from 120 damage a rocket/ball to 156, it doesn't make up the different, especially when you're wasting a slot to slightly boost ONE person.

Meanwhile Zen's discord lets the whole team tear enemies to shreds while also tracking their location.

The only change that comes to my mind right now, is changing Phara's shift from a simple jump into the sky, into a powerful thrust move with short cooldown, that allows her to rapidly move into a direction of her choosing.

Hopefully, that would make her a harder target to hit, and thus make her more useful.

He does do damage. Chip damage. And being able to do that while healing EVERYONE, being super mobile, and able to move the enemies positions is 1000 times more useful than a character who is literally the definition of a "Pocket medic"

His damage is complete ass. I don't understand why you're having such trouble accepting this.

Nerf Ults

Recon Bastion alt fire - tracker tag. Recon Bastion gains personal true sight and aimbot on tagged target. On hit damage is 25, tagged target can take 75 damage before tag is destroyed. Tag will remove itself after 6 seconds. Note that aimbot only applies to Recon Bastion but sentry and tank config can still enjoy the true sight.
